Description Vector Prime. Second born of Unicron. Seer of the Primes. Weirder of the Terminus Blades. Vector was gifted the power of prophecy by their father and the terminus Blades by his sister, which allowed him to travel through the dimensions. Vector was created to serve as a form of order and balance in the universe, he was a bit dorky and shy too but took his role as a seer and guardian very seriously. Unlike most Seers Vector’s premonitions were clear as day but choose not to abuse that power, unfortunately that resulted in him one day blacking out and revealing a prophecy that would terrify Unicron though Vector himself regained no memory of the prophecy he spoke of. When the battle with Primus came Vector was one of the many of his siblings to succumb to Primus’ darkness, both gods were killed that day and the Thirteen rechristened themselves as the Prime’s. Vector was probably the Prime to have changed the most from their encounter with Primus, he became paranoid and a giant dick who didn’t take well to nonsense with his Seer like powers becoming out of control and causing him visions, wether they be good or bad, that would haunt him both when he was awake and sleeping. He would often get multiple visions with similar details about various outcomes, the unsureness of these visions contributed to his paranoia. He’d often come up with over the top explanations for why one of his servants would be a minute late. Despite his general craziness about him Vector was surprisingly precise about choosing his colony worlds he possessed enough control of his powers to be able to see into the future allowing himself to predict how long a planet would be worth its usefulness to him, or see if any meteorites or plagues would strike it. This has resulted in Vector having the least amount of Colonies to his name after Liege, with him only reaching into the hundreds. Vector would often collaborate with Onyx in order to seek more control over his visions and prophecies, they’d do so through a blood ritual, yeah! However on occasion Vector would travel so far into time that he would hit a point he’d be unable to see anything but his own reflection in a glass like surface, when his curiosity got the better of him he decided to try and see past the block, this is what he saw. A party or celebration, the sound of a cup being dropped from a far, and then eternal hellfire accompanied by screams of agony and rage. Vector is a member of Prima’s inner circle along with Alpha Trion, where their discussions are kept private between only the three of them. Vector is treated as Prima’s second in command by the public though he doesn’t actually have the position with Prima finding his bumbling paranoia to be immensely frustrating. Vector’s paranoia has often left him with difficulties in his leadership role of controlling a portion of an empire so he often heavily relies on his assistant Rung for help, and also for therapy on his premonitions. Vector’s descendants do possess the power of prophecy though theirs come rarely and are often difficult to decipher until it actually happens, they’re much better known as being philosophers. Vector Prime has a special division of his personal guard consisting of Scorpio, Autoceptor, Deceptor and Kaltor.

Vector’s theme: youtu.be/fiAT6ri2mqg

Before anyone brings it up, I’m not going to use the troop of “person gets vision, they try to stop it, ends up causing what they saw.” For any story featuring Vector or his descendants. It’s been utilized so many times that it’s basically what most people have come to expect with any story featuring a prophecy of some sort.

The reason Vector is still gold in Shattered Glass is because I headcanon when Nexus retconned the multiversal singularities aspect of the Primes, among other characters, during The Shroud a side effect of the event was that the Prime’s kept their original color schemes with some slight alternations in optic color and armour highlights.
If I were to give Vector an alternate Shattered Glass color scheme I’d probably make him primarily purple with some silver highlights as an homage/nod to his TF Cybertron incarnation.

Just noticing this but are the Primes just basically Jhiaxus and the Cybertorian(Second-Born Generation Decepticon) Empire?

Yeah kind of. The Prime’s, but mostly Prima, think that by gaining top authority over the universe they’re helping the ‘lesser’ aliens. They think they’re the superiors race and it’s their responsibility to guide the rest of the universe.

Just don't tell them about budding.

Interestingly the Multiversal Thirteen populated the entire multiverse(except Animated & Aligned) through budding.

That’s just gross. Why would they want to go through that?

The only way to populate those Cybertrons. Though it does bring into question how did they populate Gobotrons since the Go-bots were once completely organic & just later turned into Cyborgs. And there's also Cybertron being once a organic paradise with actual animals in some universe's like BW.

I guess a way to explain the Gobots thing is they were inspired by the Cybertronians to become Cyborgs. Or maybe some kind of plague or something happened in Gobotron’s past where they needed to become Cyborgs to survive.
I could see Cybertron having previously been organic during the time of Primus, Unicron and Gaea, with former twos influence having changed it too a metal world. But I’m not super fond of the ‘something lived there previously’ just kind of raises some uncomfortable questions about Cybertronian lore.

For the Go-bots they only became Cyborgs when they're war happened and were always organic in the past which meant the 13 had to certain things I presume... As for organic Cybertron, in JP G1 lore when the Quints found organic Cybertron they turned it into a factory more-or-less and considering how quints act we can safely bet they got rid of the animals.

Thank you for explaining that stuff to me.
I understand your points with the Quintesson origin from G1, but in other continuities where if they decided to go that route it could lead to some messed up implications from either the fans or the writers, especially if there isn’t enough context.

^^

Yes. I’m working on bios for all of them, I’ve already written Solus and Onyx’s in advance and I also wrote one for Unicron, Gaea and Primus!
