Gwen and Duncan are two of the most complexed characters in TDI. Do you really think Duncan & Courtney, Trent & Gwen were really, "really" meant for each other? Really? The first time I saw these two characters I just knew they were a match. The only reason they didn't have a chance in the season #01 & #02 is only because they were on opposite teams. That's It. Besides 'both of their choice of love interest were Incompatible like hell. Remember that it was trent that left gwen buried in a coffin "her worse fear" and trent was a complete fumble and FORGOT HER. Did you forget that? I did'nt. Who in their right mind would ever think the same about a guy who let you down when your at your most vulnerable. You would have to suffer from severe stockholm syndrome to consider him a love intrest. Oh and he was overly obsessed. That's a mood killer, big time.

Without a doubt I believe that Trent made a major mistake when leaving Gwen but we can't deny that Duncan has his faults too. And the thing about Courtney and Duncan is that they would leave each other in a heartbeat (the TDDDDI special anyone?). And when dealing with Gwen and Duncan just think that just because they are similar doesn't mean that it's true love or whatever. But you know what is love? THE FACT THAT HE KEPT GOING BACK TO COURTNEY!!!! He CHEATED not left, cheated on her in the first place because she was being too controlling which you can put down to her being totally afraid of being in a relationship she never imagined a good girl like herself being in. I will tell you one thing, when Gwen is sick of Duncan being an ass or Duncan is not being challenged enough, Duncan and Courtney will be together once more!!!!

Duncan left an abusive relationship. Do you know how many times she kicked him in the testicles? Four kicks in the nuts, and as a man myself i would never comeback to that. Β Also she's self centered as well as ''you said it'' controlling, 'yeah Duncan really likes that especially the ridiculous "Love Contract". Besides it's not like he didn't have reasons for cheating because i can come up with more. But it's fair enough to say that he didn't ever state why he cheated except for the pet name thing Courtney does. when you say Duncan is a complete ass without recognizing how much of of it is to hide how much of a softy he is, don't you think you're being a little Β disingenuous? Besides what's over is over and i don't think gwen would be tired of duncan because she knows his kinks and his immature nature only serves to protect his tough guy image. Duncan always had his persona up with Courtney however he seems to be far more content with Gwen and I found he hardly needs his guard up with her. That is my observation and not just my "opinion".

Did I come off pissed? Because I'm not, I'm passionate. There is a difference. And as a girl I can say that maybe at a young age some of us are looking for someone who isn't just gonna hit it and quit it. Courtney is just insuring that her heart won't be broken. However in the process it's broken.Β
And may I remind you that she kicked him in the nuts yet he repeatedly went back. That's love bro. Or lust. More likely love because no one would return to the hell bitch (yes, we CxD fans accept Courtney is the incarnation of Lillith the hell bitch) if it was just because he sorta liked her. Also, I'm a romantic, I love the opposites attract relationship!!! I mean, nothing exciting about two people who are similar and have a healthy relationship. I love the drama and the chaos that Courtney and Duncan give.

I don't buy it. Abuse is abuse, especially if males are at the receiving end even if one may insist on staying. I've been in two abusive relationships, one was just mental abuse and the other was more physical. Do you know how it feels to get your ear cut off? Sadly i did, and had to get it reattached and it was all because of her insecurities. So every time I see anything of a character like Courtney, I think about my ear and my last so called "Girlfriend" As well as how fearful I was in leaving her.
I like Lillith/Lillitu/Inanna/Ishtar/Ereshkigal in fact she kind of reminds me of my mother but my mother was never abusive. I ever so admire a woman's strength but not at the expense of men who was just tending his "girlfriend's" garden until she cut his ear off with a pair of garden shears. But please spare me the lillith comparison 'please. Come to reality for a moment. Opposites attract? Me and my girlfriend's couldn't be any more opposite. Opposites attract is bullshit. It doesn't even matter anyway. I never claimed that I hate the character courtney. I actually like courtney in a way, but the argument over her relationship with Duncan is useless because of the simple fact that it failed. Duncan and Gwen is what works right now and leave little for speculation until a brand new season. But I don't honestly see that happening. Incidentally I would love to see more of Eva.

Also, I do read my comments and no matter how sound your argument is Courtney and Duncan will always be cute to me. As a romantic I don't see that true torture of being with someone opposite you in real life, I live in a fantasy land and I can admit it. In real life Courtney and Duncan would never set eyes on each other, but this is a cartoon, we must remember that, and I find it entertaining that they are bad for each other. However we must think of what these two have done for each other.
Courtney went bad for him, typically a girl who would do no wrong, her views of reality must of changed after the positive consequences of stealing with Duncan, then the fact he still returns to her time after time of abuse. And then there is Duncan, he directly went after Harold for almost 3 seasons for what he did in season 1!!! And when after everything in season 2 with Gwen being dropped he didn't lift a finger for revenge on those who booted her for unfair reasons.Β
Love to see more Eva, but not as much as seeing more Noah, he's such a sarcastic little shit and it's just funning!!!!

I'm not too far from insane myself, but a least i'm friendly. But sometimes taking Olanzapine messes with my body chemistry. But if i don't take it i get bad trips like seeing my skin melt or seeing my glass windows Β look like running water and also sometimes seeing a little bi plane circling in a glass of water. But i guess the worst is seeing my imaginary friend named "One Side" and she's a handful. Also loss of memory.

It's okay, I take medication too. A lot. I got something to keep me on track and something so I don't go down the dark road. But you know, it's okay to have medication so you can be healthy and happy. I used to have to take tablets or go to my therapist but I just joke around that I'm crazy. To me witches have a far more interesting belief system than Wiccan's ever have. I prefer Courtney beating up Duncan, as the fault (at least 99%) goes to Duncan. All Gwen did was kiss and not tell. Duncan made the move, so he was the one who ended the relationship, not Gwen.
