This is for the Epic Moment in Greece's Pieces where Cody has unfortunatly won the challenge and Gwen stays...so Courtney hits her!This is for all the fangirls who hate Gwen for breaking up Duncan and Courtney

dude, don't be a hater. don't like it, then don't look. i am open to discussion but as you might have seen above some people of disagreed but done so in a polite way, so don't be rude mole, it's what cultured society wants to eliminate.

dude, it's nothing personal. just that Duncan and Courtney were my fav couple as well as a lot of others' fav couples, meaning that a whole lot of people loved D/C, fanfics, art and lots more dedicated to it.
Then Gwen came along.
i don't hate Gwen, it's just a moment where you want to blame someone. And she was the first one to blame.
and thank you for saying sorry.
there are die hard fans like myself who believe D/C could be there still, and there are people like you who support D/G neither are wrong since it was a slight toss up nearing the end due to Courtney's hate and Gwen totally flirting with Trent and standing no where near Duncan.
but the message is, haters are gonna hate but like religion, don't shove it down our throats. tell us nicely.

DUDE, it's a cartoon, i just think it's hilarious that these characters have no dimensions, they don't have 'perfect for one another' sort of things, they have the hilarity factor. I don't hate hate Gwen and Duncan, just that it's not entertaining, i mean to say, that if they got together first, i wouldn't care, i would find them very cute actually.
I know courtney is a bitch, but that's why she was kept on so long in the second season as well as third, Gwen and many other characters can only go so far without developing a new personality like the longer remaining characters have seem to have done. very few have kept to their initial introduction character, such as Owen and Gwen, but others have developed 3 dimensional personalities, such as Courtney who lost her good girl act in season 2, Duncan who lost most of his bad boy act in the same season, Heather has started to be actually nice. the characters have developed and so have the relationships, with this show the whole point was that these characters were 2 dimensional, they were the stereotypes you would find in a high school, you didn't care if they weren't right for each other, you just wanted easy entertainment.
I know i said i was a hater, but i left it at that, didn't explain why, just said it and left. (unlike some people). and they were totally flirting, and Duncan was in the final 2 episodes in the stands, and when he and Courtney were together, they were close to each other no matter what, but with the final episode, Duncan top corner, Gwen? other end and other corner.
you know, this would be so easily solved if Duncan had a twin or something

actually, that picture i agreed i didn't like what happened, but i did like the picture, was my background for a bit.
they did have dimensions, they were aimed at teens so they had to have characters, but they were a bit more flat, Gwen was expected to be gothic, so she was. Duncan was a bad ass, and other than that bunny moment, he was. they didn't do anything unexpected, but the combination of all the characters made the show, but they needed tension in the next season. so they streched those personalities till i didn't like some of the characters, like when Heather was nice...it was weird.

whoops, i was thinking of the wrong one, there was another picture that i quite liked that had Duncan and Gwen.
Duncan and Courtney were expected, the second i saw the first argument, i knew they were going to kiss or do something. with the first season, you didn't expect them to do some of the crazy stuff, like Gwen's kiss. i expected Duncan to cheat, (which is why i hate Duncan) and i expected Courtney to do a bit more and maybe girl fight or you know, kill Duncan. Gwen, i didn't expect Gwen to kiss Duncan as she kind of liked Courtney, so that's why i dislike Gwen during the 3rd season (3rd season and that season only...well, the last couple of episodes), i didn't expect her to do that, i thought she was a good person, and then she does that. also, Courtney was a bitch nearing the end of the season.

you are right about it being built up, but only for that season. through out season 1 and 2 guess who were the couple that everyone rooted for.....come on, you know, they are the good girl and bad boy? yeah, there you go.
Gwen broke it off with Trent (and i might have said this to you, but that break up was a might bad one, a quick right off by the writers as i had never witnessed Trent being as insane as he was in season 2) so they had planned for the Gwen and Duncan thing. however, Trent and Gwen were the main couple through out season 1, and because of the evidence of the quick fix of Trent thing, the writers either planned for season 2 to be totally against most of the characters personalities at times or they never planned a season 2 and it was pure luck that TDI managed to hit it off, so they didn't plan the need for Trent's irrational love of the number 9, or Lindsay's 'big' feet in season 1.
and btw, boyfriend cheats on you, on national TV, with girl you thought was friend and you have already twisted someone with a lamp post for voting you off and continually overreact to every little thing. and all she did was slap Gwen and make the worst sneak attack ever? either a written Courtney and a Gwen that would be stupid enough to kiss in front of a camera she KNOWS is there! i mean come on! Gwen and Duncan knew the bloody camera is there!!! and it's ON! that is really stupid!

of course i saw TDA! and to point out when Duncan and her were broken up and she was ignoring him, HE TOTALLY WANTED HER! every time they weren't together he wanted her! When he had her, he wanted someone else, and obviously when he will definitely have Gwen, have her love and all, he will want someone else! Duncan is the classic jerk, wanting what he can't have. He could have Gwen all through TDA but he didn't since he didn't have Courtney.
Trent had everything to do with DxG, if he were normal then maybe they would have a disagreement over something normal, break up, audience had sympathy for Gwen so what her next actions would be towards relationships would totally be seen as getting back in the game. with the wimpy number 9 thing, it looks like she broke up with him over a stupid little thing when all she needed to do was ask or give it a chance and the reason for 9 would reveal it's self over time.
i know, the heat of the moment thing, but there is a point where it's smart and a point where it's stupid. This situation is like making out in front of a school photographer, you know it's there but 'oh it's the heat of the moment' (sarcasm btw). it would make more sense if they moved in really close, saw what was happening, them moved apart. but then see each other near the back of the plane or in the baggage area (like Heather and Alejandro). then make out.
that was not hate, seriously, i was waiting the entire season for a bigger blow out! this is the girl who over reacts and then reacts with violence! Heather, i would see her losing to get Gwen off, i would see most of the characters doing this, but i see Courtney striving to win but ignoring Gwen, or bitching about Gwen or doing something! all she did was try to lose, and the Courtney everyone knows, knows she would lose for nothing. revenge is not a logical reason. i would see her pushing Gwen off the plane though, maybe put her in really dangerous situations. nope, she tried to lose herself! by making obvious attempts to lose! wouldn't she want to prove that it doesn't matter that Duncan broke up with her? she wants to shove it in his face, then push Gwen off the cliff in Australia.
uh hello, she was maybe 'best friends' with Gwen for like 2 episodes. and only friendly for 4. like Courtney's not going to look back and think 'we had good times' she's going to look back and think 'bitch was always thinking of my man, and if she got close to me, then she could get closer to Duncan, that's why she was friends with me'. Courtney has never had many friends on the show, the only one i can think of is Bridgette, and she left the second she went boy mad, so she had no one else, and the only person who would tolerate her, turned out to be in love with her boyfriend the entire time. it's a stab in the back!

i do too, they were cute together as they were more peaceful, i could totally see them just lying together, awake, and just enjoying the company of the other. with DxG it would be talk all the time or some illegal acts, but with DxC i could just see him wanting to lie back with her.

Hell to the yeah, but i think the writers of the show just made a quick way to make him mess up, i mean, he was never doing that stuff before. it just kinda ruined it for me because i thought Trent was cool, i still do, but the quick break up was just not right.
oh, and i love DxC in season 1, except for season 2 when Court was mad and beat D up a lot....that was funny. that's why my fanfics always kind of show the characters in season 1 style

I don't just put the blame only on Gwen but a huge portion on Duncan as well. Before TDWT I liked Gwen more then Courtney (Courtney due to the TDI special and TDA went down to my dislike characters while Gwen I felt 50/50 on) and when the two became friends and looked like they were becoming better people it was helping both of them and I was growing to like them more. THAN Duncan returns, the cheating and betrayal, suddenly I'm rooting for Courtney to beat Gwen and Duncan (I don't want Duncan to return to Courtney as while I'm still not a huge Courtney fan and after this cheating and betrayal all signs of the development was shattering as well as Courtney's mind (understandable why) but Duncan is a jerk (something I knew from beginning) and after what he did he doesn't deserve Courtney or anybody).
I LOVE the Cody smack and Courtney has every right to hit Gwen (in fact I figured it would of been a bigger attack and Gwen would of had a bigger damage like losing teeth)
