Sorry, more Legion/Brainy art. We've hit the season/series finale, so I'm preoccupied. Although I have discovered another cartoon...expect some possible Transformer art soon, bwahaha..."I don't know if anyone's destiny is written in stone. I know Dark Victory Part One was a serious tragedy for Brainy's character (which we all saw coming), but I loved this part in the episode where Kell-El is being suspicious of Brainy. When Superman tries to stand up for the Coluan by pointing out that his path could be changed, Kell sarcastically replies with the above quote. Instantly, this exact image jumped in my head. I nearly died laughing.
So here's that possible future for ya. Superman X isn't amused.
First time drawing the guy! HE'S FREAKN' HARD TO DRAW!! I think I made his head too big, so he doesn't look as bulky as he should. Or maybe I just can't draw bulk; I dunno...
Awaiting Dark Victory Part Two, and hoping they don't kill my favorite character off.
EDIT: Shoulta waited till Part Two. Then I could have drawn HUMAN Brainy as a pastry chef, lol.
But on the plus side...THEY DIDN'T KILL HIM OFF! ^_^

Hehe, Brainy's funny when it comes to some humor; he just doesn't quite get it, and that provides humor for us. Β Meanwhile, Kell-El also doesn't get humor, so if Brainy is attempting to be ironic, he misses it also. Β Basically, put these two in a room and they have major communication issues, much to our amusement.
Now I want to do an art piece of someone (probably Chameleon Boy) trying to tell a joke and having both Brainy and Kell-El take it too seriously in different ways, then each think the other is the one not getting it.
Yeah, rather a bummer that they made such a cool Superman clone and he's probably never going to see the light of day in another show. Β The LoSH cartoon was awesome, but in the end it gets tossed away along with a lot of other cancelled, little-known shows into the big Pile of Unfulfilled Potential. Β So very, very sad. Β
Oh well, LoSH will always hold a special place in my heart. Β And I will continue to sit here and wait with baited breath for the day DC announces a live-action series to go along with their Supergirl and Flash and other TV shows, because that would just ROCK. Β I just hope they try to invoke this Brainy; I'd be sad if they went another way, but they probably would each incarnation of Brainiac 5 seems to be different from the last.

Lol, I guess I should have gone with the "kiss the cook" apron I originally was thinking of.
