Taking a break from my school projects, I drew a quick art of Zuko. This is the most intriguing cartoon character I have seen for some time.(from a show called Avatar: the last airbender)
Being almost totally stereotypical bad guy in the beginning of season 1, he then began to change and slowly reveal his history, to become the deepest and most interesting by the end of second season. In comparison with his adventures, I would be almost bored by the episodes featuring Aang, if it werent for Toph.
But all in all, every single one of the characters made for a beautiful "Tales of Ba Sing Se".

I like the perspective, but his feet look like they are relaxed and sitting on the floor rather than hanging in the air. The rest, though, is really good.

i kind of intended his boots to be rather stiff, that would give the impression. but if it looks unnatural then there's no point in arguing and you are right

Yeah, I meant unnatural in terms of gravity. I know most people's feet would be hanging slightly more downwards.

but that's just speculation, Zuko probably wears soft and elastic footwear to work better with martial arts.

Fantastic drawing. And I agree, Zuko is definitively a very intriguing character. Though him choosing Azula's side probably means we won't see more of the wonderful relationship between Iroh and Zuko. *sighs in disappointment*

well i wouldn't be so sure... i don't think he will stand azula for long- she has humiliated him too many times for his honor to resist thoughts of vengeance :]. But it's all just speculations, i can't wait for season 3...

I love that quote and kind of agree with it. For some reason I find the shadow really interesting in a good way. Not only that but Zuko would so go pout somewhere high where he can watch people.

I think that Avatar has some of the best character development of any t.v. show on the air these days...great not just for a cartoon.

I agree! The way Zuko evolves in second season was unbelievable (unbelievably good and complex).
Definitely one of the best character developments I've ever seen- he changed, but didn't change at the same time. Cool stuff.

I know. I got misty watching the episode "the Storm" in season one...the character development for both Zuko and Aang was just amazing and it was only skimming the surface. Your picture is lovely by the way. Simple, yet stunning.

Ach, Zuko.. Też go lubię :> Obrazek fajny. W pierwszej chwili jak na niego spojrzałam odniosłam wrażenie, jakby Zuko się lekko uśmiechał. Ale to pewnie jakieś moje urojenie, bo on nigdy się nie uśmiecha (jedynie raz to zrobił ).
