Description
Guess who's finally getting a proper profile!!!!!!!! I've decided that I need to do this with all the free time I have, all my characters will be getting references posted and profiles of their own, some are still missing information and reference images, but they will be posted nonetheless. c: And hopefully I'll be uploading more art of them and more fiction, to share their stories with the world~This design/drawing was made by Nix-Tempesedo for myself!
Please do not use/recreate/draw this design unless you have my permission! I take theft very seriously.

Reputation: Sparrow has a very dark past, it isn't very well known for the most part because her crimes have never been linked to her name or face. But here's what we know so far:
--> Assassin < From the very beginning Sparrow has killed Autobots (and traitorous Decepticons) of high standing, from senators to generals to dangerous medics. If she was given the order to kill, she did it. Yes she did learn about her victim first, but if they were wanted dead, they died. This was often done in a quick and painless manor.
--> Sparkling killer < It cannot be justified and never will be attempted, but when she was starting her training and a new Decepticon, Megatron wished for her to prove how faithful she was to the cause. The ideal time came when a Decepticon had been found out to have bounded with an Autobot, they had a sparkling. She was told to kill it for it was a disgrace to the cause, if she did not then it would have been done by someone else in a much more painful manor. So she did. It haunts her to this day and she has never forgiven herself for it. Of course this one act led on to cause rumours that she was a serial sparkling killer, she is so effective as an assassin that no one could prove she had done these things, but it also meant she couldn't prove she hadn't either.
--> Mass murderer < From sneaking into bases and killing many as they rested or were unprepared, to burning groups of Autobots in one go. She isn't afraid to take on a big challenge, it's one of her least favourite methods of killing as it is gravely dishonourable and she cannot find a crime worthy of killing each victim. This method has only been used two times: killing Necromancer's troops in their base, for they were too grave a threat to Megatron; and a group of exposed Autobot's, who's commander had been selling the Decepticon's secrets and then refused to carry on.
--> Spy < Infiltrating many Autobot groups and rooting out the weaker ones and the leaders, killing them and taking down the group from the inside out; or just gathering enough info for them to be eliminated by other Decepticons.
Important Allies:
--> Knight >(mine)< Adopted Brother >< Way back when Sparrow was just a little sparklings, she found herself on an offsite gladiatorial site after escaping her scientific creators; this is where Knight found her and cared for her, buying the rights to keep and care for her using his life savings as a gladiator. Though they were separated for a long time, they've been close ever since.
--> Soundwave >(canon)< Mentor/Master >< After she was properly identified by Shockwave as being a predacon, modified especially to fight in the great war, Sparrow was put into the care and training of Soundwave. Their relationship is... difficult to explain. Since he shows no emotion and doesn't actually talk, but he's done a great deal for Sparrow and she owes him a lot, hence her undying loyalty and outstanding obedience to him.
--> Wyvern Claw >(mine)< Trainer >< For a short time, Wyvern Claw taught Sparrow how to fight when she was made Soundwave's apprentice, teaching her many of the killing and fighting techniques she still uses today. But after she began killing dishonourably, he disowned her and defected the cause, leaving to join Necromancer and his Decepticons.
--> Farthing >(mine)< Spark Mate >< During one of her missions away from the Nemesis, Sparrow encountered Farthing when she was searching a medical ward for a potential spy, though the meeting had been very brief, she could never forget the kindness and enthusiasm he showed to his work and the care of his patients. So when Sparrow was assigned to her own team to go to Earth, she asked for Farthing to be their medic. Of course she had no idea he had a crush on her and soon they grew closer, before eventually become bonded.
--> Accelerate >(OC)< Best Friend >< Sometime after Megatron's return to Earth, Sparrow was on a mission in Australia, she was shot down by someone (she suspects it was the Autobot's human allies) and her ship crashed, she was taken captive by a group of resident Autobots and though they didn't get along very well at first, they soon became people she might deem friends. Ace especially, he was kinder to her than any previous Autobots and showed her a lighter side to the world, effecting her own view of things. Sadly this friendship and the information he let slip led her to be captured and interrogated by Necromancer, but she forgave him as he did her.
--> Nyx Tempesedo >(OC)< Friend >< Met under the same circumstances as Ace, Sparrow had a great deal of respect for Nyx since the moment she met her. The human is puzzling to Sparrow, she suspects there is more to her than mere flesh and bone, but delve no deeper with her queries after an unsettling warning from Shatter. Though she had a few small disagreements with the human, she would consider Nyx a friend and come to her aid if necessary.
--> Carnage >(OC)< Friend/Guardian >< Though they didn't have the best of introductions (a vicious, furious, bloody battle), Sparrow grew a small bond with the dinobot, it may have been his kind and quiet nature outside the battle field, or perhaps because he was the only one like her, an ancient race that didn't really fit anywhere else. This bond grew after she was betrayed by the Decepticons, she spent a great deal of time recovering and it was Carnage who was by her side through the most part, keeping her company and telling her stories of Cybertron's past; his presence now means safety to the femme, but she still has great fun nipping his heels and provoking him into high speed chases and adventures.
--> Lucan >(OC)< Friend >< Though she buried him in the snow and few times and despised him for blocking her bond, Sparrow grew to like the strange boy for all his quirks and confident attitude. He is a royal pain in the aft on most occasions, but she quickly grew comfortable in the fleshlings presence and tolerates him remarkably well. Though she does still give him a nip if he's a little too irritating.
Sworn Enemies/Not Friends:
--> Optimus Prime >(canon)< When Sparrow was created, one of the modifications to her CNA was that she would be in some way bound to the one who wielded the Matrix. Sadly, things didn't go as planned and she joined the Decepticons, this meant that when facing Optimus in the field, the over powering presence of the Matrix drives her to a state of hysteria, painting a pretty awful image of Optimus for her. That and she's an assassin and in turn has killed a lot of his soldiers, he's despises her for that and has ordered his Autobots to shoot or even kill her on sight. (Which wasn't too bad because no one knew what she looked like, they do now.)
--> Necromancer >(OC)< Though she agrees to make amends for her actions by 'working' with Necromancer after the war, the femme has a cold fear for the white mech. She can never quite forgive him for what happened to her (binding her to an oath to never harm or kill again, to the point where he hacked her processor to install a programme that allows him to see as she sees), but it's how awful she feels about her past actions that keeps her in line. That and she fears what he might do if she goes back on her word.
--> Solitaire >(OC)< Having tortured her on Necromancer's orders (as a kind of punishment for killing so many of his soldiers and other Cybertronians), Sparrow hates Solitaire. So much so that she either falls into a blind rage or restless fear in her presence, she can never forgive Solitaire for her actions.
--> Score >(OC)< Because he's an aft and we do not like him. >:[ After being released from Nyx's team the first time, he managed to catch up with her and shot her down, proceeding to torment and attack her even though she was helplessly ensnared in a net. She can understand why the mech did it, for it was his friends she had killed when she attacked Necromancer's base, but despises him no less. During the battle for Nyx's presumed allspark shard, the two clashed again, resulting in Sparrow being thrown into the sea and nearly drowned. But she got her revenge on the well decorated mushroom- I mean mech.
--> Roughshod >(OC)< There's a great deal behind the reason Sparrow doesn't like Roughshod, even though they do find a way to get along in the end. During the war, he was spying on the Decepticons for the Autobots, giving them information etc. She was sent out to try and find him and though she met him, she didn't know he was the spy. Their encounter led him to learn that Sparrow was going to attack a small group of Autobots, he told them and they prepared an ambush which nearly led to her life being lost. Then he went on to later figure out that she was Soundwave's apprentice and an assassin, making it known within the Autobot ranks and exposing her, stopping her from being able to infiltrate and spy on them within their ranks. Then, the final fatal blow, she was falsely accused of being the spy in his place. She was tortured and nearly died from her wounds; many of her team mates were murdered; Knight was imprisoned; and Farthing tortured in an attempt to get her to confess. The aftermath of that terrible time has left a very deep wound in the femme, such loss and grief nearly drove her to near insanity, and even now she cannot fully forgive RS for what happened. Even if it wasn't his fault and he was found out in the end.
Weapons:
--> Dragon Fire; Sparrow can vary her flame to various shades and potency at her bidding. She can create an orange flame that scorches armour and leaves a sooty covering, a pure yellow/orange flame that melts through any metal type, a sticky red flame that clings to armour like magma, or a toxic golden flame that explodes when it comes into contact with anything.
--> Electrical Manipulation
--> Throwing Knives
--> 2x Daggers
--> 2x Long Swords
--> Pistol
--> Electric Shooting Bow; This weapon takes the energy stored in Sparrow's frame or the bow itself and concentrates it into one point, the area of the bow that the arrow would sit. It builds into an unstable electrical mass that fires in the direction Sparrow chooses, much like a real arrow. The damage this weapon causes greatly depends on how much energy Sparrow puts into it, having enough power to kill an opponent, or a low enough starting point to knock them out. Though if she is not concentrating she may misjudge and cause more or less damage than intended.
Personality: (Entirely depends who you are tbh. ._. )
--> To a friend: Loyal, kind, caring, compassionate.
--> To a superior: Loyal, obedient, quiet, submissive(maybe), stubborn.
--> To a non-friend: Quiet, cold, hard, stubborn.
--> To an enemy: Harsh, cruel, cold, fierce, rude.
Strengths:
--> Quick learner.
--> Keen audios.
--> Eager to learn new things.
--> Fast and well trained in aerial menuvers.
--> Strong bonds with family and friends.
Weaknesses:
--> Hydrophobia! She had a strong fear of being trapped under water or drowned.
--> Cold! Too much exposure is crippling and it does not take long to take effect.
--> Primes! They have such a strong matrix influence that she can't bare to be in the immediate vicinity to them.
--> Being outnumbered/crowded! Because it's much harder to escape and a lot of people don't like her.
--> Being grounded/unable to fly! Like most flyers, the excess energy drives her mad.
--> Loosing a loved one/friend.
--> Influence! She's still young and, with the right words, she can be swayed/talked into believing different things.
Known History: (in as good an order as I can get it)
Creation:
(The following occurred on a planet in the same system as Cybertron)
Sparrow was created in a lab using the CNA of old predacon remains, merged with the CNA of a captive femme. This femme had no name, just the carved P-973040 on her arm. This was one of the first ever projects to bring about the long extinct predacon species. Why? War was coming, revolution brewing, they needed a weapon to beat back the rebels and keep the Decepticon Movement in check. Who were these people? Autobot scientists, the most advanced of their kind, working together to figure out the puzzle that was the predacon. But to ensure that this ancient beast, of which very little was known, would be effective and loyal, alterations were made. These alterations consisted of:
-->Binding the predacon's spark to the matrix so that it might obey the Prime.
-->Enhancing it's fire power to make it stronger and more effective.
-->Increasing processor capability to make it more intelligent.
-->Heightened growth rate, so they did not have to wait for it to be combat ready.
-->Installing extra skill sets to make it as effective as possible, being able to harness multiple fire power types at once.
-->The ability to procreate or, in other words, have sparklings. It was a difficult modification to make, but possible simply because that was one of the adaptations predacons possessed. It allows her frame to make a choice to carry a sparkling whenever she.. well.. procreates.
They attempted the process to create Sparrow and her siblings three times, the first two withered and died away, but the third carried on. When the predacon was ready to removed from the test tube, an attack was launched on the lab by Decepticons who had heard about it, but the soul survivor of the group that led the attack could not bring himself to kill the sparkling and abandoned it in the ruins. It is unknown what happened to him.
The Autobots had heard about the attack and sent a group to check for survivors and lingering Decepticons, but only found Sparrow. The resulting chemicals and electrical equipment being exposed to such elements resulted in toxic and acidic air and fluids all over the area, causing Sparrow's protoform to burn and melt, and damaging her optics which resulting in long term semi-blindness and partial colour loss that still affect her to this day. For a short time, she stayed with these Autobots and grew some, but their strict rules and fear of what she was and where she came from made them sharp; this tension and conflict ended with her fleeing the area in fear of her life. She did not understand anything of the world, her only programming telling her to run and hide.
After some time, she came across a series of large structures, heavily guarded and surrounded by walls and guards. Somehow she got past these, entering the area in hopes of finding fuel and somewhere safe to hide. But she didn't get the welcome she was expecting and was chased by several of the large mechs there. It turned out this was an off-site Gladiatorial arena, where Cybertronians who could afford to avoid the war were taking advantage of the last of their luxuries until the Autobot and Decepticon conflict blew over. But of course it didn't. Luckily, Sparrow was discovered and taken in by a gladiator called Knight, he fed her protected her, sending the last of his credits to keep her alive.
(Please read Little Discoveries if you wish to know more.)
Becoming a Decepticon:
Despite the prayers of the slavers and arena owners, the war grew out of control and soon left Cybertron. The Decepticons attacked the planet Sparrow and Knight were living on and they were separated during the confusion. At first the Decepticons only wanted the resources form the planet, but after learning about the enslaved gladiators, Megatron himself visited these mechs. The masters attempted to sell them to the cause in exchange for their own freedom, but Megatron instead killed them all and freed the gladiators and slaves. Knight and the gladiators were sent to the front lines, and Sparrow shipped off to another planet to act as canon fodder. The mechs who sorted them deemed her to be too small and weak to be of real use and used her as bait; though the femme had learnt much during her time with the gladiators and was able to defeat the foes she faced and breached the small compound she was meant to be drawing the Autobots out of before the main attack squad got there. The squadron leader had been enraged at first and attempted to kill her, but Soundwave had witnessed what the femme had done alone and stepped in.
She didn't know who he was or what he stood for at the time, she could barely even speak a whole dialect or any Cybertronian language, but he spared her. He took her before Megatron and she swore faith to the Decepticon cause, then after Shockwave had ran a series of long and painful tests on her and made some confirmations, they realised what she was. But instead of killing her like the Decepticons in the past had done, they decided to use their Autobot-made weapon to their advantage and began to teach her how to be an assassin. She's studied under Soundwave ever since, learning various fighting skills, nearly all the Cybertronian languages, and a series of other skills that he knew so that she might aid him as a spy and communications officer; after he knew she could be trusted wholly.
A mech names Wyvern Claw also had part teaching her how to fight, but after a series of her missions, he defected after claiming what she was doing was not the right way. Sparrow did not understand this of course, for the Decepticon way was all she knew and she'd already done too much wrong to leave as well, and she was too loyal to Soundwave to leave.

Reuniting with Knight:
It was on one of the major front lines of the Decepticon armies, Sparrow had been sent to help cut back on the commanders and high ranking Autobots leading the opposing faction so that the Decepticons might gain some ground. It was a long battle and it took a long time for her to complete her task, but eventually the added might of Sparrow and the Nemesis, the Autobots were pushed back and defeated. Sparrow stayed by Soundwave's side for the most part after this gruelling fight, but after a time she was dismissed to assess the area and write up reports on who she had killed and what she had learnt, things that the Decepticons could use later on.
Whilst she was wandering the area, picking off surviving Autobots and locating Decepticons lost in the fight, she came across two mechs. One was by the side of another, trying to stem bleeding and patch up injuries. It took her a moment, a second look, and a closer inspection... but that Decepticon, tending to the other, was Knight. She'd been so shocked to see him after so long that she nearly didn't go to him, offer aid. But when she did, he was as happy and shocked to see her as he was, mostly because she was a lot bigger than the last time he saw her and she could actually speak to him.
Together they took the wounded mech back to the medical facility set up on the Decepticon's side of the now stale battle field and spent a great deal of time after the battle catching up with one another. It is important to note that, even though Soundwave had known of this gladiator and that Sparrow had been searching for him, he very nearly decided to kill him because of the possible threat he posed. If anyone found out what Sparrow was and who she was, they'd both be compromised and he could not allow that. It took some convincing, but eventually she managed to convince the spy master that Knight would never betray her or use her to his advantage. And that she'd not tell him who or what she was... but of course the whole universe learnt that a few years later.
Farthing:
Whilst on a mission to search for a target, Sparrow went undercover in one of the largest Decepticon ships besides the Nemesis. He was a presumed traitor and she was tasked with finding him, figuring out what he knew, who he had told, and making him disappear. During her search, she came across a medic whom she wanted to ask about the patient, claiming him to be a friend of her's... but there was something odd about him. The way he looked at her, the way he stood speechless and in a seeming daze. This medic was Farthing, and by his own words later on, he said it was like looking upon and angel, he knew immediate that there was something about this femme that would affect him for the rest of their lives, he knew they were made by the One to be together. But of course Sparrow took this very differently and vacated the area before he could get her name, but he never forgot her face.
Many years later, Sparrow was tasked with scouting out a sector of the universe close to a planet called Earth, tracking a group of Autobots with a new group. In this group were Oberon, Mortlock, herself, and Farthing. During the years after they last met, she'd learnt a great deal about him using Decepticon files that Soundwave had on every Decepticon to join the cause, she asked for him personally because she too had felt... drawn to him. It was a sensation she could not explain, it lingered and grew with time. Farthing was beside himself to see her again and started a cautious and perilous quest to court her.
It took a very, very long time for him to succeed and Soundwave was furious, but they truly were soul mates. Of course Soundwave did nearly kill Farthing, for Sparrow was forbidden to have such a close relationship as it could be used against her, but for once she stood against her master. The punishment was severe, but she was happy with her choice.

Ah wow, I love the character design and backstory! Well thought out and a dangerous 'lil beauty~. ouo
How long did it take you to think out this backstory, or did you already know what you wanted to do with her from the start? x3

Thank you so much, your kind words mean a great deal to me~<3
I started with the idea that she was Soundwave's apprentice and an assassin, that she was an Autobot for a very short time in her life. But that was it. I learn about my OCs as I write about them, thinking up new ideas as I go and weaving it into what I've already got. It has taken...... 7 years? to get all of this as good as it is, I'm very proud of what she's become and all the work I've done on her. c:
Now all I have to do is try and get it all written down and remember everything. XD

She sure is! Especially if you get in her bad books or get on her master's kill list.. but she's a nice femme really, you just got to find her under all those layers of Decepticon-ry. :'3

I'm sure I could do that. XD Provided she isn't the kind of person who just attacks on sight.

No, she evaluates her opponent carefully, checks for weaknesses, makes sure she doesn't know them already, if they're alone.. I don't think she's ever killed on sight, even on a mission she watches for a time and then makes her move. She always gives someone the benefit of a doubt, since she doesn't like killing, just deems it necessary because war.

Ahh I see, fair enough. She sounds like one of the few Decepticons who actually isn't an asshole or cruel in any way.
