2009I like to take risks with my artwork. Sometimes it pays off, other times not so much. I just try not to get discouraged, and just tell myself it was a learning experience.
This piece was a learning experience. I really wanted it to work, and I thought it had great potential. I am not sure I lived up to that potential....Oh well....On to the next test. LOL!

I tried to keep the background line-free. I have tried in the past and it did not look as good. I got lucky this time. Thank You so much for your kind words as always Gothdarling!

Thank You my friend. I really think maybe I was to hard on myself about this one. I had to really keep focused because I started to get frustrated half way through. The background scared the poop out of me. I always use black line then add color. I was so sure I would mess something up.

I love how this turned out! Especially like how the eye floats inside the little bell-jar on top.
Also, the background makes me realize something: lineless BG's bring more attention to the foreground!

Man, that background scared me bad. I had try to do the no line thing before and messed it up every time. I really got lucky with this one. It still seems a little blurry. Markers can be so hard...I know you know what I am sayin' my friend. THANK YOU AS ALWAYS!!

Yeah I tried something new with the background... The only resson I ask is because I really just do not know. It really is like I can not make up my mind. I almost trashed it, because I did get discouraged.
