Description

This here is my monster of a tribute to Swans. Difficult to cull from 16 albums and early EP's, this concept is a tribute to everything Swans have done from their 1982 self-titled EP all the way to The Beggar. The art was done in over an hour on MS Paint and Gimp. The trick was the exact measurements, and getting the font right without risking spam from a download (the font is Coolvetica).
Each of the five discs represents a different side of Swans, except for the last two which all take one epic off of six of their post-rock albums. The title of this comp refers to the sizes of the various tracks. The entire trackllist is both forged from the singles released, the researched opinions of Reddit, and a couple of personal choices. And as you can see, the cover makes references to SftB, early Swans album cover concepts, the rabbit from the 80's, as well as including the two symbols from Children of God. But the most important piece is easily the TEETH (I admit that I was going for a Donnie Darko's Frank aura). At some point I'll make individual discs for them
DISC 1: Bloodied (78:59) This album covers the no wave era from 1982-1986. The title refers to the dirty noise rock sound.

I centered around original release studio tracks for this one as there was enough to warrant an album, but I included Blind from the White Light reissue as the people here tend to love Blind.
