A long time ago, I drew Dakota and Pine going to a shady looking restaurant for their date.

Dakota is very bad at romance. He turns into a huge dork when it comes being a romantic. Usually Pine has to hint him where she wants Dakota to buy or do since he wouldn't have a single clue 🕵️‍♀️

Dakota decided to surprise his woman to take her to "Crackal Barrel" and since he wanted to be the one not always depending on her ideas. 💀
Dakota even decided to not to "dine and dash" but actually PAY for everything. The date is very special since it's their 70th wedding anniversary. He EVEN BOUGHT her flowers without stealing it 😱 Dakota had made her a gift for a long time. He carved her a decorative wooden box and inside the box had wooden hearts with meaningful words in it.

The romantic dinner was going great so far, after they ate, he was planning to take her to a canoe ride.
But of course, things would not go Dakota's way. Some Minotaur looking guy and his gang showed up at the restaurant. They starting looting, harassing the waitresses, and customers. The Minotaur gang, pointed a gun toward Pine and Dakota and demanded that they both emptied their pockets. They even smashed Pine's bouquet and stomped on Pine's gift. The box was completely damaged.
Big mistake, Dakota and Pine were both outraged, they both swing a punch at the same time and the guy went flying through the door.
