This piece earned the 1st Place Award at the Las Vegas, Contemporary Arts Collective, annual juried show in 2008.

Oh, where was it I saw that...? Have you ever seen the cartoon, Futurama? The martian girl, Amy, has a cell phone that is about an inch long that has a charger that's as big as a shoe box. She kept having to move the phone back and forth from her ear to her mouth...kinda reminds me of my sister.

i thought this was a painting at first. then i full viewed it, and i was astounded by the fact that it was, in fact, a sculpture.

Amazing attention to detail, the unity of color does a good job of creating an even yet interesting scene. Also: An image of a statue depicting the lives of statues = Awesome.

Hmm... Advanced critique...? I think there's a lot of brown in the picture do maybe more gold could have gone to the bottom half? I hope that helps

i once dreamed of a music box with a huge tree image on it, was truly classical and so much magical elements in it that when i opened, i was in another kingdom where fruits of all sorts rule...sounds like some bedtime stories...=.=

So, i'm an old Pink Floyd fan, and I your comment made me curious. I went back to check the cover and discovered that someone out there had turned that cool line drawing into a sculpture. Art begets art begets art. We are all one flowering canvas of creativity. Thanks for the connection.
