I'm not sure about you, I happen to be a supporter of BasilxOlivia, and I get kinda cranky whenever I see BasilxRatigan, it just doesn't make sense. I mean, I'm bisexual, and I support rights, yes, it's just the idea, they hate each other!

Oh I am as well. I think they'd make a great couple...of course if Olivia were older. I'm pretty sure you read a couple of my stories that I wrote about them. With Basil and Ratigan...I can sorta understand it because they're sworn enemies. But you never know.

Basil and Ratigan were sworn enemies, and even as Basil said around in the beginning before Ratigan is introduced on screen, that he was the one who always escaped, and yet he came so close, so very close. Apparently, out of all the villains Basil's dwelt with, Ratigan was probably the hardest to deal with capturing.

Yes, I know what you mean. When I saw the TGMD, the only impression I got from the dynamic between Basil and Ratigan was that they're enemies and out of all the criminals that Basil dealt with, Ratigan's the hardest to catch or deal with.
Besides in the Sherlock Holmes books, Holmes had trouble putting Professor Morarity behind bars because he didn't have enough evidence to prove London that Professor Moriarity is a criminal. Nobody would believe Holmes because they all see Moriarity as a great man. Moriarity was a villian with good publicity (think Gaston from Beauty and the Beast).

Yes, that would be totally awesome if they make a story about that! I read that during the 1986 movie production, Olivia was designed to be older and a potential love interest for Basil. But the filmmakers decided to make her into a little girl because they felt that it would do a better job bringing out the emotion between her and Basil. Maybe they could use that idea for the sequel!

yeah, it's because they use computer animation and stuff like that instead of hand drawn. That's why I was so glad that they brought that back in The Princess and the Frog.

I was happy, too! The movie looked good and it was 2-D, so therefore when it was out in theaters, I went to see it, and I'm hoping there'll be more 2-D animated films to come, I mean some CGI films are good, but they sometimes make too many bad ones. It's kinda hard to find a bad 2D movie, there are a few, yet not too many.
