- Sister Aspenkit died a few days after birth, Oakkit would learn to make quick friends with others for companionship
- SeaClan begins to settle within their own new territory, separate from the other clans
- Moon Flowers were discovered by LeafClan's deputy (and Featherflight had to explain that cats didn't become flowers when they died to one very confused Oakkit)
- Eelstrike became Eelstar
-There was a crab contest and Oakkit got to try some crab but couldn't actually participate in it

-Met Burningpaw in the neutral zone
-Mysterious pawprints were found in SeaClan territory; the prints were made by a handful of cats in the clan
-SeaClan's camp flooded during the rainy newleaf season, forcing the clan to make temporary camp in the forest
-Oakpaw helped make the temporary camp more comfortable with Nightpaw's help

Pinkpaw liked seaclan but was scared she wouldn’t be a good warrior. She didn’t have good eyesight and she didn’t want her mentor to think she was a bad cat. She wanted to be useful.
Early in the morning pinkpaw was awake and ready to learn. She wanted to get a head start. She wanted to impress oakstrike and seaclan. So she waited in the middle of the camp for him.

Oakfrost stretched out and shook his fur as he stepped out from the warrior's den. The clouds were a bit thick today, blocking out the rising sun's rays. The new surroundings were still a bit odd to wake up to, but also not too dissimilar; he'd spent more time than he cared to think about out from the rocky walls under the waterfall. The early morning patrol must have gone out already under Shallowreef and the Keepers' eyes. Also something new to get used to. . . He shook his head. Too much change lately. But, he thought with a small smile as he spotted the small white form of his apprentice waiting in the center of camp, not all of it was bad.
He strode over to Pinkpaw and tried to ignore the thoughts weighing on the back of his mind for the time being. "Good morning, Pinkpaw. Ready to go?" He studied the sky for a second. "I think today's a good day to work on some hunting; prey might still be a bit groggy."
