Well, after Myth made Dream, the robot gained sentience. Like any sci-fi story, Dream decided to overthrow the living cats. Myth tried to convince Dream to stop, but realized she lacked love or compassion as she was just a heartless machine. So, she decided to give Dream her heart so she can have love. One painful procedure later, Dream had the heart transplanted into her, and shared the love that Myth had. The two are intertwined because of this, and can sense how each other is feeling and if one upset.
