Wassup yall? I decided to make a ref for Bryson's rival, Torch! Originally he was made in a "Create your OC" meme I've filled out by Di-kilala , and I loved him so much, I've decided to draw him fully. Onto the bio~

Occupation: 8th grader, singer, keyboard player
Personality: Arrogant, mischievous, cunning, witty and charming, aggressive, envious of Bryson and his band, condescending
Likes: Competitions, having all the glory, getting what he wants, being in control, heavy metal, rock music, steak, winning, proving himself to be better at everything (even though he's actually not), dying his hair
Dislikes: Seeing Bryson and his band get all the praise and glory, losing in any way, shape, or form, getting humiliated, pop music, sappy songs, emo bands, bats, Bryson being in the way, not getting any attention, clowns, neon colors
Favorite food: Steak and fries
Favorite drink: Coca Cola
Fears: Spiders, bats, clowns, creepy masks, being left alone and abandoned
Fun facts: 1. Torch is from the United Kingdom! He uses his self proclaimed "charming" accent to get what he wants.
2. While he does get made fun of for being a puff with no powers, he often retaliates with roasts and his fists, causing humiliation and embarrassment for the bullies. Watch out, Torch knows karate!
3. Torch is the leader of his band full of metal punks. One of them is choosing to stay with Torch in fear of him exposing their little secret. What kind of secret is it you ask? Let's just say... they were caught cheating on their partner, and Torch will use that to his advantage should they ever stand up to him or threaten to leave the band.
4. Ever since he met Bryson at a local talent show and lost against him, Torch felt humiliated and rejected. The more victories Bryson has, the more Torch's jealousy grows. He is often trying so hard to prove that he can be even better than him, at one point resorting to cheating at their middle school talent show and unplugging his rival's amp so he couldn't play anymore. That, surprisingly, didn't happen- instead, Bryson and his bandmates kept on playing, claiming the acoustics are much better this way.
5. He is considered as one of the few school bullies to be feared upon. Or so he says. In reality, half of the school doesn't take him seriously and will often dismiss him and his actions, laughing at him and calling him names. This will often get Torch really angry because who are THEY to treat him like he's inferior?
6. A bat bit him on the arm when he was just a little kid, causing a rabies infection for a long time. If you were to get him near a bat, he will just stand frozen in fear, trying to act all tough, insisting he isn't scared of bats- but when a bat suddenly starts flying, he'll scream and run for his life.
7. A girl and her twin brother transferred to his school, not knowing a thing about Townsville. When he first met this specific girl, Becca, she introduced him to her pet bat, and the tough wannabe ran for his life. However, after the first dozen times this girl's come to his concerts, the random acts of kindness towards him, and the looks she gives him (not out of hate, out of love~), he felt himself... having warm feelings. As if he wants to protect her from this harsh, cruel world. It didn't help any matters after one day, Becca came up on stage and confessed her love towards him with a kiss- now, he's constantly making sure people don't stare at her all weirdly, that they don't hurt her in any way, and Bryson and Becca's brother, Ryan, are very suspicious. What could he want, they wondered? Torch's answer... "I don't want anything. Is it so wrong to want someone to look after?"
However, his feelings towards her show otherwise. He doesn't show his soft side towards ANYONE except for Becca. When they're in front of people, he'll do his best to still show off his tough side, but also making sure he doesn't hurt his "friend" (which will soon turn into lover, but that'll be much later)
