Zutara week entry 3!
Again I only just finished this, and all my entries feel very rushed at the moment which is a shame :/
Another thing which is a shame is that it seems quite a few other people have gotten the same idea for this prompt, (and their versions are WAYYYY better, go see them)
But anyways, transcend is quite a nice subject for Zutara, so heres how I showed it:
Small rant:
Katara had to rise above her pain for her mother and become a strong role model for others, which is shown by the wave sweeping her up.
Zuko, on the other hand, was still holding onto the pain of his scar (and other things, poor guy) so hes shown on a lower level (this doesnt imply that he's weaker, just that he didnt get to cope and rise above it very well) even when he joins the gaang and is happy, he still has allot of hurt inside. There was a slight gap between him and the gaang when he joined, and I think Katara being the last person to accept him fully is of importance. When he finally gained her forgiveness that was when I think he was fully accepted into the group.
