Bahhhhhhh. This took wayyyy too long. xD Okay, and the upload's gonna take even longer. Greatttt. Thank god for my DSL coming soon....ANYWAYS. This is EXTREMELY detailed and explains how I make port lineart. I used the picture of *theNekk 's character, Nekk, which I am going to turn into a port for her.
Please note that this is NOT meant to be a limitation on how you create your own lineart. This is just how I do mine. It's meant to be a learning tool, but please do not flame me.
If the question is relevant, or I haven't covered something, feel free to note me or leave a comment. My only request would be that you not ask about coloring or shading yet: I will cover those in future tutorials.

This is such a good lineart turtorial. My way would probably take up to a hour. It takes a long way to get everything perfect. D: Thanks for this tutorial! Now, I have a much easier way to make a pic a lineart! Love the character/design also. <3

I used to sorta do it that way, except I was like omgwtfbbq trying to make the line nice the first time around... never worked like that. XD This is awesome though, thanks.

HMM! Almost do it like me.. only I don't do staircase, I just start with cleanliness.. easier for me. ;3 And I dunno about you but I do ALL my port on PSP. :B
