I have no idea why, but for some reason I couldn’t find a good pose or concept for this task. I have like, 300+ sketches, partially finished pieces, and even a script of her speaking for this task but hrggggh gah bleh do bleh.

Also! If anyone would like to partner up with Mara for the next round, would be super excited to collab! Definitely likes the simple activities such as crafts, cooking, bug catching, exploring.

Anyways

Eating habits: Mara’s main food source growing up has been insects. They’re plentiful, pretty easy to catch, good source of protein for flying, and all around have so many flavors to choose from. Her favorite is “spicy garden” (common critters you find, heated with hot peppers that you forage and placed on a bed of leaves). A lovely delicacy

Sleeping habits: Ahsí and Mara usually slept together for warmth and comfort. They usually sleep during the day until the sun has begun to set due to their sensitive eyes.

Subject of study: Language. Mara speaks a completely different language than the Katik dialect and thus had to learn how to speak it in order to communicate as well as better improve hiding her identity. Her people use a language that cannot be heard at the common frequency (hence why her clan have developed larger ears). This has led to misconceptions by non kiren historians to write in their history books that the Kirens were so ashamed because they could not speak that they hid themselves from the world. What are your thoughts? Have you learned or know another language?

Humor: She thinks Iki, (a 12-13 year old asaren whose clan is hiding them) is funny at times. Ashi begs to differ but what does she know?

Quirk: “I would rather not answer”

Team role: Stereotypically she is seen as “the heart/ emotional support”. She has a lot more roles such as the “sister”, “comrade”, “peacekeeper”, “observer”, “planner”, etc. Never box yourself into one role, “that just limits yourself”
