Description

This will lead up to the fight scene of the Deelgun Attack!
Here's some revealing to Maeve's story and a small bit of Melanite's! Have a bit planned for these two!

With the invasion of spites, all of Wynsiph had to fight if they wanted to save their home, otherwise, it'd be gone forever. No one was going to let that happen, right?

--

Maeve and Melanite took a long path through town to an anbandoned home, blocked off. This was Maeve's old home. When her family was still one, full, and happy. But none of that existed anymore, and after this attack passed, she guessed there wouldn't be too many happy families left. She only stared up ahead, a blank stare, dull. She felt a light nudge at her side. Melanite. "You ok?" The yellow gro asked.
Maeve looked back up, nodding silently. Mel's brows furrowed, but there wasn't much she could do. They had to focus after all. That beast curled around the nova tree..it was a matter of life and death..like many situations.

Before all this, heading to Maeve's very old home, she had been heading here alone before bumping into Melanite, who had also been rushing to get ready to attack that disgusting creature which threatened to destroy Wynsiph. It may have not been Melanite's real home, but it was still a part of her. They had a quick talk, and Maeve explained things to Melanite no one would usually get out of her so easily. But right now, she could care less. She had to get to the adbandoned home that was once her own. Melanite ended up agreeing to fight by her side. Along the way, Maeve told Melanite more about herself, past-wise. They exchanged oddly similar stories however..both suspected something familiar of the other, but couldn't pin point it.

With enough chat, it wasn't long before they arrived.
"We're here."
"But..there's fences?"
Maeve disregarded how Melanite pointed that out. "Just climb." Was all that was said before the dull green gro began making her way up the unstable fence. Only after she had done a bit of climbing did she remember..she could fly....
There was a long silence between the two, Maeve sighing, just a tad irritated. "Sorry.." Melanite mumbled before easily flying over before stepping foot onto the ground again. "Yeah, hurry up, we gotta go and help the others if that thing is every gonna go away." She said, a growl mixed with her own voice.
Maeve walked on ahead as Melanite stared back at the middle of town, being able to see the giant creature on the top of the tree..She hoped everyone would be able to defeat it..or else..everything would be gone. She quickly shook her head, eyes narrowing. 'We can do this..definitely.'  But..she was so scared. Her family..her own pack..they had stayed back in the woods..filled with spites. She knew there was a good chance they wouldn't survive, but still hoped and hoped.

She caught up to Maeve shortly after. Maeve didn't really seem to have trouble with entering a dark place like this..but oddly..neither did Melanite. This place felt familiar too..just as Maeve did. Weird

They walked through rather long hallways before stopping suddenly. Melanite accidentally bumped into Maeve, getting pricked by a few of her spines. "Ouch!" She jumped with a small shriek. Maeve only looked back at her with a glare in her eyes. "S-sorry..but Maeve, why'd you stop?"
"..This is it."
Melanite was confused before Maeve pointed over to a solid chest, almost like a treasure chest everyone visions but never really sees. Except, this one was made out of medal, with golden rims.
"Melt the chains yeah? It'll be quicker than if I were to try and undo them myself."
She paused and nodded silently, walking over to it while Maeve walked elsewhere. "I'll give it my best shot..not too good at this magic stuff though y'know.."
Just as she started on it, she stared down at the sealed lock. The symbol..yet another aspect that was so oddly familiar. God all this familiar stuff and trying to figure out why hurt her head. Whatever. Shouldn't hang on to that for too long..But she did anyway. Her mind kept bending, twisting knowing there was something she knew but couldn't get it out into her concious thoughts.

It was all blown away though when she heard creaking behind her. Maeve had been working on another lock, popping it open with the right combination. Melanite's head whipped around in a slight startle before only staring with wide eyes. That room Maeve opened...

"Woah..Maeve..what is all that??"

Mod message: Don't forget to count a wyn for your story! As long as it has a drawing attached and it's over 600 words you may count a wyn for it. Also please remember, when submitting a story with a rough image you will need to submit it to the stories folder.
