In between and , this comic is meant to show how the user's mind who is not animated soon starts fading slowly. Peach trying to keep her memories and avoiding to fade until the doll princess animates her via a magic collar.
Finally showing how the Doll Princess manipulates the now amnesic princess Peach into her bodyguard and also showing a bit of her insecure side.

The toy shroom is actually useless against beings that are already toys or toy-like. Bob-ombs and mechakoopas would be immune, and Geno, who possesses a wooden doll, would be immune since the doll body shields his true form.

Being made of crafting materials isn't enough; I specifically said they had to be toys or toy-like.
ROB, in his latest appearances, isn't a toy or toy-like.
Thus, all of them would be vulnerable to the toy shroom.

It takes much more than simply being made of crafting materials to be immune to the toy shroom. They have to have many other aspects in common with toys before they can acquire an immunity to the toy shroom.

That really depends, but Kirby's not part of this storyline...
That said, if I had to answer that, then no,he wouldn't get an ability,nor would he be able to spit it out. Once the toy shroom makes contact, it is absorbed, its power does a thing (turns the victim into a toy-version of themselves; the exact kind of toy varies from being to being), and then leaves (read: toy shroom fades). This leaves the victim otherwise permanently transformed into a toy, especially if they can't find a way to reverse the effects.

Geno is unambiguously good, and he happens to be a very rational person. Thus, I doubt he would fly off the handle like that.
If the Doll Princess is slain, then those she animates simply fall to the ground, lifeless. It is her power that animates them, so her victims technically rely on her to stay alive after the transformation. Their minds would fade as normal as if they had never been animated to begin with. In short, they die is beings, and are left as being just life-sized toy versions of themselves.
The reason they don't turn back to normal is because the toy shroom's effects got applied, did a thing, and went; it's an instantaneous duration as opposed to continuous.
The toy shroom's cure will be revealed at a later time. Please be patient.

Consider the following: The Doll Princess attacked Bowser's kingdom, and she is partly responsible for toyifying Bowser himself. Bowser jr is usually in charge of Bowser's kingdom when he's away, and the two have a strong father/son bond.
All of that would mean a horrible first impression, and Bowser jr is likely to see her as a personal enemy; he did just that with the Best Fitness Friends/Brute Force Federation during "Bowser jr's Journey" in the "Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story" remake.

I'm not going to do a Smash-themed crossover. Even then, I don't plan to have more characters toyified. You would have to suggest or commission Mythkaz for such a crossover.
The only crossover I'd do with the Doll Princess comic is with Pretty Cure since this story does reference another one I wrote involves Pretty Cure.

I may be the guy who's coming up with the plotline for the Doll Princess, but I cannot deal with speculation and plotline requests very well. It actually does get annoying, all things considered.
