Several months later, Dawn recaps the important things she's done: Finding new forms of Pokemon, stopping a criminal syndicate, battling evil Pokemon, and causing mischief. Giratina's been using Spectrier to swap Pokemon allies into human women's bodies. Specifically, Team Galactic commanders Mars and Jupiter are now her swapped with their Pokemon, being a glamor-girl and punk-girl respectively.
Dawn finishes shooting a movie. She's taken work as a part-time actress to cover her travel expenses. Her friend, Marley, swapped with Darkrai, tells her she's free to travel now. And the two mount onto Spectrier to ride off.
While on the road, the two run into another pair of trainers. They turn out to be Lillie and his OC, Regina, from one of his prior Lunar Lillie fanfic. Dawn challenges Lillie to a battle. One montage later, it's a draw and the 4 sit down to share a meal.
Lunala takes over Lillie, and Giratina does so with Dawn. The group is revealed to be made of humans possessed by their respective Pokemon friends. Lunala says they're heading to the Kalos Region to do research for the Aether Foundation, inviting Dawn and Marley to join. They accept and the girls regain control of their bodies and think their all
friends now. And so, everyone walks off into the sunset for their next adventure.
