This is really nice. I love working with pen put I don't do it enough. What's great with pen is sketches end up looking really nice, and you can't go back and fix mistakes, the mistakes become a part of the sketch itself. I think you should do more ink challenges, I'd like to see what else you can do.
Random tip, but like pencils, try making a value scale with your pen, you should be able to get at least 5 values out of that pen. It's just a guide.

wow, 5 values seems like a whole lot! i guess what you say is right, i should try accepting the pitfalls of ink only as advantages! thank you for the tip estie, i might try a pen piece in the future
