So, a bit of reason behind why there's a borrower here!
Yesterday I posted a picture of 's OC Kip, who is a borrower. And doing that pic, I realized I really liked drawing little people, just as much as ai do drawing big people! And after some discussion with my good friend , I decided to make one!
And now, for the bio!

Name: Pecan

Species: Borrower

Height: 3¾ inches

Age: 9

Personality: Pecan is best described by the words determined (can also be called stubborn), crafty, cheeky, and a tad untrusting. The determined part of him is that he'll never give up when he sets his mind to a goal. For example, his absolute favorite food of all time is strawberry, and he'll go to great lengths to eat some. A human in the way? He'll wait until they move or go to sleep in another room before making his way over. A large gap or sheer cabinet-cliff? He'll use that rope to climb up or down step by step. He will stick to whatever goal he desires, even if it's in his best interests not to (hence the other word being stubborn).

The next trait of Pecan's is that he is very cheeky, or not showing due respect to someone. This can be related back to his determined mindset and him wanting to stay affixed to goals, but is also a part of what makes him somewhat endearing to those close to him. He says things that you just wouldn't expect someone of his stature to say, but in a playful and youthful way.

Next is his craftiness. He is decently good at working around problems, usually caused by humans, via tricks and misdirection. An example would be him causing a pan or a pot to fall over to distract the human long enough for him to bolt away (he's kinda quick on his feet for a little guy). This led to Pecan developing somewhat of a prankster hobby. If he doesn't have much to do, he'll mess with the humans in the house he's currently visiting with said methods, as well as misplacing items. It's his way of keeping himself entertained.

And now for the final trait, Pecan being untrusting. He isn't quick to get close to people or let them get to know him. He sees most others as people out for their themselves, and therefore planning to play him to get what they want. It's even worse with human sized people, because he was taught since he was young that humans/demi-humans are monstrous creatures that will gobble you up/stomp on you/ torment you all for their enjoyment (like most other borrowers). So he stays out of sight from people if he can help it.

Additional info: Pecan is a nomadic borrower, meaning he moves from house to house, staying as long as he can without being caught, then running off as quiet as a mouse. This is in contrast to many other borrowers, who either live outside human households entirely or in them 24/7. He's a mix of the two.

Why is he on his own and not with his parents? Well, it's because his parents were bad parents. They lived under the floorboards of the small house of an old lady, and lived off of her food and water. However, both of the parents wanted to be the one who went out borrowing, or getting supplies from the house above. They would argue most nights about who would go out, and in the end would both end up going anyways, leaving young Pecan behind. As he grew older, he saw that this wasn't an effective way to live. That's why one day, when he was nine, took some of the supplies, some clothes, and ran off to live his own life separate from his parents. And so far, it hasn't really done him much harm... Aside from that scar on his face. That came from a human woman who snuck up behind him with a flyswatter one day and tried to smash him flat. Thankfully, he leapt out if the way, bit the flyswatter grazed his cheek, leaving a gash. Now he touches it from time to time to remember what happened and how not to let it happen again.

Aaah I'm so happy! I haven't been this excited about making a character since Magnus! And that's saying something! I hope you look forward to the escapades Pecan will get into as much as I do!
