I love the Green Mile, it's such a great book. I wanted to make a comic after reading it, so i decided to make one about my favorite character, Eduard "Del" Delacroix.And the movie is great too. I really liked Michael Jeter's performance. What a great actor, his portrayal was perfection. So i am using his design for the character (if only Stephen King illustrated for his books also, so than i'd know what Del really looked like)
Y'know on of the things that struck me while i was watching the film was his prison uniform. I was like "why does it come with a belt?" I thought prisoners weren't allowed belts because the gaurds would more often than not find their owners hanging from them. I guess things were different in those days.

You're such a great artist... I love the Green Mile. i'm just reading the book, because i was pretty facinated in the movie.
In the movie Wild Bill is my favourite character, but in the book it's Eduard Delacroix.

The Green mile is the most heartwarming of Stephen King's books. It really inspires us to love our fellow man instead of just focusing on his deeds and condemning him. Del started out as just a horrid excuse for a human being (raped a girl, burned her body, killed more people)who deserved nothing but more than that painful death.
But than we see that he was just a poor little man who made a horrible mistake on a spur of the moment thing and ended up paying for it in the worst possible way.
The movie is my favorite book adaption because it portrayed them all faithfully. And the actors where all perfect. It was like someone threw a camera through a time machine and it ended up in an actual 30s prison.
I cannot stand that vile little bastard suck-up. Little closet homophobe. Yeah Del accidentally touched your crotch, but really? The only reason why he took it to far was because he probably liked it. And Del laughing at him probably hurt his pretty little pride more! Fucker got all he deserved.

I think the same.... I really felt sorry for Del when he started to cry even more when Percy told him that Mouseville doesn't exist!!
Percy was supposed to be on Old Sparky! Not Del.
