Lol, I kinda wish I was well-known enough to get a flamer, then i could purposely ignore them, so they get angry and ignore me, and I can purposely ignore them ignoring me and hopefully I'll eventually create a large enough Ignorance buildup to create a black hole and destroy Earth as we know it MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

ah, well its just when I quetion the validity of true-talentness of things like '
it just seems doing the current trends in art's good seems to be the end all in good talent to the point i think "lets see if i can make perfect Disney/Anime fan art or anime beasties/kittens and fill my portfolio with them and use it for an fancy serious art school"
would that work? I mean would I really get in to SCAD or something like it if i made those 'fake screen shots with subtitleing' photoshop drawings.
Or would I be best at then applying to do box art and stationary for merchinidsing for a real show (like disney dvd covers)

True, true. I haven't run into any flamers here at dA (luckily) but you sure get in touch with them over at different forums and such. Hmm... I don't think the whole "If you're getting flamers, that means you are more skillful" applies entirely. Popularity maybe.

Actually, I do know quite a few "flamers/spammers," and they are quite lovely people and decent-to-good artists themselves. Sure, they might not have a life, but hey neither do most of us who hang out on the interwebs 4+ hours a day. X3 They "flame" certain people as a protest more than anything else, maybe except for the lulz.

However, the message is filled with /lies/ and /bull/.
It may be true for artwork, but in the ways of catching /pedophiles/ online (Gaia towns, for example) is an effective way of telling the "oh-so fabu" artists/people in said situation to crawl in an acid filled ditch.
