Sometimes people just suck. I've seen some pretty talented people who just happen to be assholes. Reality is a sad, sad thing.
So yeah, the "flamers are just jealous" thing is a complete misconception, just so ya know.

what I actually wanted to say was the following:
I did not write that they flame ONLY because of those things. Hell no. A lot of lesser skilled artists than some of those really good ones here (don't count myself as one) get flamed.
It's more the point that I wanted to show how miserable their lifestyles can be. Maybe some flame just out of hate. Or because a person pisses them off. (like a writes-thousands-journals-a-day-persons)
But let's face it: flaming or harrassing can't be excused. No matter what a flamer might start to argue about. There are quite a lot ppl in RL or internet that really piss me off sometimes. But instead of flaming them, I draw or sing or go outside.
I ask myself if they really have nothing more important to spend their time with. I mean..... wtf?
they write comments, long as books and tell others how their opinion, art or whatever sucks. It takes them hours to write them and start a huuuuge argue with the one they flame.
I know a LOT of flamers that hate other for the success they have. Not all of the flamers flame because of that. Never said so. But it's the most common reason someone starts flaming or hating a person.
Well this comic was more a fun-way-to-put-it-thing than truly seriouse ;D I used the most klishee version of a flamer there was: A fat, wannabe, emo kid. yay.

But this is just me just being the devil's advocate here, eheh... I know flaming isn't acceptable, but you still can't judge all the people who do it based on your own preconceived notions, you know?

Another good way to shut flamers up is to taunt them--but this may be entertainment value for only a rare few like myself.
I never state anything that can be used against me, I just ask small polite questions that make them angry and make responses that crack me up.
