A dragoncharacter of mine
luff.
done with colored pencils.. about 8 hours work.. .-. in 3 days... I'm tired.
and no BG... damn you, BG!!!

Edit: I am still needing a lot of practice. I am not used to use colored pencils and it's damn hard work.
Next to that, I will change Lanjangans Design in the future. His wings won't be connected with the chest anymore. They will be connected with his arms. So.. yeh.
I drew this with my 80-piece pencil set of Caran D'Ache!

ps: seems like =ahkahna had the idea of this kind of wing-design before me. so she has the Β© to them

Cool, and crazy colours, but I think the wings would make more sense to me if they were unfurled. They seem a little confusing folded up. I do think I get what you mean when you say "attatched to the chest" though...
And I really like the colouring on the large grey scales on the back of the neck and the tail, they came out really well. I also like the colouring on the wings alot, and the red stripes on them look really cool.

Yeah pencil are quite hard to work with, but once you get used to them, they have the same effects as pastels! ^_^ Only they don't make as much mess... XD

Wow, that's one of the most creative dragon designs I've seen o-o It's like you went over the thing inch by inch looking for spots that looked like they would be on a normal dragon and eliminated them, lol. Great job!

You might want to talk to =ahkahna about the wings :E They're a different design, but she holds the Β© to wings with the membrane connecting to the chest plate.
In any case, This is a realy fascinating dragon D: It makes me jealous because I'm not creative enough to make something like this... I love whatever lines it's back and the top of its tail, as well as those red ziggy zaggy lines in the edge of the wing D: also the detail in the folds if the wing is just fabulous. Keep it up.

well actually, the horns are inspired by the game 'Drag On Dragon'. Since I am playing it, I am getting the weirdest ideas for my dragons. Legna (the dragon in the game) is way more weird then this one.
