I love the wing and tail feather proportions! Gorgeous! This is one of my top favorites for sure.

I'd love to see more of these two learning how to fly, and what Cyclonis looks like. The random purple feathers floating down and the way her wings/tail feathers are laying on the ground give me the impression she's experiencing some sort of flying-related frustration. It'd be neat to see these two in front of an epic red-rock landscape! Is there a story behind these characters? If so, I'd like to know.

I certainly do have some plots and stuff on the back burner, so as of right now they're just doodles, but eventually they'll get fleshed out. The trick is getting the time to do these things ;_;. But yes, I'd figure big majestic wings would be very cumbersome when trying to take off where modest little wings have no problem at all. I just like giving characters struggles.
If you're curious, these are characters from a show called Storm Hawks, which is a canadian made show and I highly recommend if you're into kids shows. I do believe you can find all the episodes on youtube or somewhere on the internet.

Thanks for the show reference! The first look I took of Storm Hawks they didn't have wings, so I'm glad you added some to make the characters more interesting.
