With the new Wings of Fire book being officially released I figured this would be a fun way to celebrate.Paint is based off both the American Painted Lady and the Australian Painted Lady. They are easily my favorite butterflies ever since I got to study them as a kid.
Here are some basics about her for now.
Name: Paint
Species: Silkwing
Gender: Female
Age: Young Adult
Job: Hivewing nanny
Personality: Paint is a gentle and soft spoken silkwing. She is terrified of misbehavior way,Β and as such, aims to please authority figures and gets jumpy if she thinks she's in trouble or has done something wrong. She's most at home while making little toys from silk for her little dragonet charges. At her job she finds it hard to always be firm with her little charges but she does what she can to keep them safe and from running her absolutely ragged. She's pretty exhausted by the end of most days. Her biggest wish is that she could get a break and not have to worry so much about what the hivewings thought of her. Even if it was just for a little bit.
