one of the most badass females to ever pack a weapon!This one is dedicated to my good friend John-san (you know who you are
). He and were the ones who inspired me to start painting/drawing again. They've been the cool spring in the desert to me. 
He also shares my love of sci-fi and badass chick heroes with weapons.
John is a real live hero, one of the few and the proud (semper fi, my friend)vasquez & alien(s) copyright to Joss Whedon, Dan O'Bannon, & Ronald Shusett; totally epic movie by 20th Century Fox

THIS is how you do a tough female character. Those like the ones in anime or Buttercup for example, feel too unreal, as if their motivation was;
"I am tough cause I am angry for no reason". Vasquez was a military gal who would not take anybody's shit and was willing to take on any
challenge with complete confidence, which is why she is so admirable.Β

Vasquez been an under appreciated character in my life. But now, here in this picture, she has the spotlight. I especially like how in the new Colonial Marines game you can find her Pistol and Smart gun (The smart gun has her bandanna tied to it
