Okay so, first things first, I'm terrible at drawing anything remotely similar to mech type things. I tried so hard to make it not look dumb, but ughasdfghjI just wanted to practice drawing Fox, and then this happened, and I guess it's what Fox will look like in some ridiculous StarFox game in the future. I'm sure that arwings and landmasters will also become Gundam like things as well.
EDIT: Added in Krystal lol. So, for those of you who may wonder and/or complain that Krystal doesn't have any guns or a huge freaking cannon on her shoulder, I'm going to be blunt - it's because she's a girl. Like honestly, not to be sexist or something here, her frame is too small to carry that shit. Yes, Fox is small too but men tend to have more upper body strength.
Krystal's outfit is made more for agility (boost on her back to make her run faster, yay) and minor defense. She has little electric pad thingies on her fingers for stunning and I'm sure it somehow would help her silly telepathic abilities, as illustrated in the sketch.

No one has yet, but someone might so I figured I'd nip that in the butt before it came up. I don't know if I will. They took so long to sketch I can only imagine how long coloring them would take xD

I find what you said half true on the muscle mass.
For her frame, yes, I would agree.
But you take a girl like Miyu (not you, the Miyu Lynx of SF2) I believe she could easily handle one.
And if you told my mom something like that, you'd leave with big knots on your head, lololol.
Dear God, I hope they don't go that way with Starfox.
The most they should go is like the one sector on SF:64, which escapes my mind atm.

I don't care about them maintaining a cannocity in a totally different game/story.
I'm just saying I wouldn't like to see Fox/Krystal or any in that team with heavy armor to a point where they look like cyborgs.
But that's just my personal preference.

Then call me strange then. I don't like Gundam. But I dig Mechwarrior [link] , I always saw gundam as dumb because all there stuff may as well be glass and could not take a hit. But I digress
As for the suits. It makes sense to put armor on an E.V.A. suit. Just for the fact that there is actually a lot of stuff in space. From micro-meteorites that fly and hit like hi velocity bullets [link] , to interstellar radiation.
They are flying star fighters in outer space, why not where a pressure suit? It would be a bad fate to die from vacuum due to a micro-breach, the air purifier on the fritz, or the loss of some sort of rad shield?
But yes, I say the Big gun on Fox's shoulder can definitely go. But I can easily see them using a sort of PA(L), just for the reasons stated above.
Yet on the flip side, you can always say that Star Fox is boarder line stupid brave for not using proper space suits.

That or their technology (Like arwings and so forth) are advanced fibers that don't require wearing heavy elements like metal suits.
Then again... We're are talking about two fox's that are piloting aircraft, so didn't the rules of reality already get tossed out the window?

I mean if you played any of the super smash bros, you can play in the lylat system stages w/o any support of air or metal suits.
So trying to rationalize reality into fiction is just silly...

I actually liked the gamecube cont. and didn't have any prob using it.

Yet maybe we should post in different forums that walking 'mechs have the same flaws as the human leg. Many joints that would be impossible to sufficiently armor.

How would StarFox get the funds for a Gundam of their own and would each member have their own private Gundam or would it be just one since Fox is a cheap dude it would be expensive?
But back to the sketch - this looks really good, especially that shoulder cannon. That would be awesome to have in a StarFox game.

i must admit he was rather creepy as he was first seen in command. but if nintendo decides to show him again in the future im sure they'll improve his looks

Mostly just the idea of him. The only purpose he serves is to solidify a relationship between Fox and Krystal, and any game made with him as the protagonist will most likely not be any different than if Fox were there instead. That, and well, he does look dumb. So dumb. I might not mind as much if they given Fox a daughter instead, just to break up the succession of McCloud male leaders of StarFox and bring something new to the games.

Besides Falco and Slippy, who still looked the same, everybody else was ugly as sin.
All Marcus needs is a good Artist.
Like I've seen some redo Fara and she looked 100 times better (If you saw the comics, your eyes would bleed).

Actually, you know what it looks like? Imagine Gundam, plus like, a desert. At least to me, it makes it look like a ver steam punk era mixed with the more eastern cultures.

I met a dude once who claimed that he found a clip of a STAWR FAWKS SHOW that used this very concept. He was full of crap, but I thought it was funny xD
