I decided to revisit my Light Fury redesign a bit since I wasn’t particularly happy with it. I mostly drew it for stress relief at the time so I wasn’t really thinking about the design as much as I was thinking about the drawing itself.

Anyways, I think about Httyd3 a lot, so I decided to start developing a headcanon for it HA

In my headcanon, basically- toothless does find the light fury (and she’s labelled as a sub species, not a ‘female’ so nobody gets confused and thinks she's just a female night fury, yikes) I’m leaning towards a very playful personality for her, finding toothless’ antics cute/funny- but skittish cause hello what’s that?? some scars?? She was probably badly abused hence her aggression toward humans.

I was tempted to have toothless come across another female (or male even??) night fury but, I adore the colour contrast between the two (black and white) so! it stays. I could have made an albino night fury...I still like that idea but idk, the light fury offers more chance to be unique in her design and she represents the aesthetic of the hidden world pretty well I think.

Toothless and Hiccup (and the rest of the dragons and humans) don’t separate in my headcanon (so no horny dog toothless yay), Berk prolly goes to live in the Hidden World and Toothless discovers more nightfuries.
There’s more to it but that’s the gist of it (I don't want this to be too long okay HGSEYUFG)
