Daring purple eyes looked your way as you traveled across the flooded river. Your (h/c). (h/l) hair being toyed with by the blowing wind. You were unaware that you were being watched, going on about your bussiness of trying to make it to the next city. Deep inside you knew you shouldn't have taken this way, though it was shorter. You felt you should've just listened to what your mom said. "Take the path through the woods, please. It's longer, but it will save you trouble."

You didn't like to argue or fight, so you silently listened, nodding, rebelling inside. You didn't need her advice or guidance. You were (a/g), more than old enough to handle things on your own. You tried to move quickly but carefully along the rocks that provided the only path across the river, or rather, through it. Your heart sped up as you saw a Magikarp flopping towards you. All it would take was one second of lost balance to fall into the deep water. Magikarp kept flopping, chanting "Karp kaarrppp" as it continued in your direction. You began to move faster than before, trying to avoid the Magikarp. It flopped at you, but you were sure it'd miss. Unfortunately, it managed to strike you. Losing your balance, you began to fall, letting out a short yelp of terror. You were positive this would be it; you'd fall into the water and not make it out.

The back of your head hit a rock as you fell. After feeling only a moment of sharp pain, you were out like a light, unable to stop your body from being sucked into the water. A blue-purple hue formed around you, lifting you out of the water almost as quickly as you fell into it. After you were out, you were slowly, carefully lifted over the water, high into the air. A gray colored Pokemon emerged from the trees, flying up to be at your side. He flew higher into the air, taking you with him. After a few moments of being carefully navigated by the Pokemon, your eyes opened.

"You're awake," the Pokemon said without moving his mouth. He didn't look at you as he spoke. "H-how..." you began, interrupted by the Pokemon. "It is probably best if you don't speak." he said.

You found that response to be rude. Did he not want to hear you? "H-hey! I don't know what your issue it, but-"
"Do. Not. Speak." he said. "You're bleeding badly."
"Bleeding?" you said, repeating him. At this time, you noticed blood trickling from your head, down your face. "Ahh!" you yelled. You couldn't stand blood. "I'm bleeding and WHY AM I FLYING OH GOD-" you began to squeal, trying to take in everything.
"You got hit by that Magikarp, slipped, and hit your head on a rock. Don't speak, don't say anything. I have to get you fixed up." the Pokemon said.
"Can I at least know your name?" you asked, making that the last question.
"My name," the Pokemon said, turning to look at you as you two flew through the sky. "Is Mewtwo."
