I tried to draw Ariel, her surprised look she has when she finds Eric ^^, But I gave her different clothes and put her in a sofa, but still that cute look in her face
I will colour her.. some day c(;What do you think?

I think you did a good job, especially on the eyes and mouth. Her fase and hair shape also looks good. Maybe you could have shaded the dress a little more and her skin, because you shaded the eyes so well. maybe draw a little something in the background? But it is a nice drawing

My scanner killed most of the shadings, but someday I'll colour it and give her new shades ^^

ah, I understand. My scanner is like that too. The colours always come out so much paler than the original work. It's very irritating because then I have to adjust everything in paint program afther I have scanned it

Her eyes shouldn't be so big, not to mention you got them wrong otherwise. They change the way her eyes go depending upon her pose. But otherwise good attempt. Ariel's eyes are HARD

Alright, thanks for the critique. Yes they're hard, but I thought suprised people get bigger eyes than usuall, but Ariel's who already has big eyes maybe doesn't ^^ my mistake!

They get a bigger eyed look in cartooning by making her iris and pupil smaller, not larger. It makes for the shocked lock, and they may widen the eyes a bit as well.
But if you look at Ariel her Iris and Pupil aren't really as big as you made them normally. She looks like an alien because of how huge they are. If she were an 'anime' character it would match and actually her eyes would be bigger.
But the point of it is when you make her surprised her eyes look bigger because you make her pupil and iris smaller. I've learned this by watching and by trying. If you look in my gallery there is an expression page of Nathan with a shocked look

thank you, well, I think my scan did that work, the shadings becomes totally different from paper to computer, but yes, they kinda are
