Some pretty heavy Macabre stuff! The very dark moody colors, seem almost like a really old picture that's hanging on someone's wall. Very Grim indeed. And the blood on the fingers and mouth are a good contrast to everything else. The brightness of it catches your eye

Gee, thanks xDDD I'm not a (very) morbid person, and I was super happy when making this, but somehow it looks scary.
And it's kinda subtle, but if you add the bloody fingers and mouth together, there's hinted cannibalism, since the teacup is /not/ full. It's probably empty.

maybe it's the accusing hands that seem to carry the dark essence of deep insecurity that society had back then and it still has now. it captures perfectly how open people were about silencing the abnormal because of their own misconceptions and fears, simultaneously grasping the more shadowed way of that barbaric sense of mind now. the woman seems ok, with whatever fate she is to endure and the blood that stains her hands and mouth just pique curiosity in what it was that she did exactly. sporting a nonchalant attitude with a noose around her neck. Accused of treason by the ignorant, misguided mass with limited evidence.
