Seperate Worlds, yet one thought.

This is my entry for the FLOL Tanabata contest. The main theme is of course seperation and reunion. I chose seperation, particularly that time when Orihime had just arrived in HM and Ichigo was alone in his room thinking of going after her.

(Also a note for the perverts, Orihime is getting dressed into her Arrancar uniform that's why we can see her panties. )

Orihime is sitting on the huge couch while Ichigo is on the floor in his room. Which is why their legs aren't even but I thought it mirrored well.

I used: Oil pastels, indian ink, paint.

I can't remember the name of the technique (something French) but it uses oil pastels first then the india ink over top and you scratch away the ink to reveal the deep colour underneath. If I remember I'll comment...but for now I can't think of the name, sorry. (I added paint overtop to get the colouring more accurate. Orihime's hair was bright yellow before that!)

I may redraw this someday, as I love the effect but I hate how Ichigo turned out. Curse you Ichigo and my inability to draw you! *shakes fist*
