Description
[Name] glared at the trio of males in front of her, holding her precious Bulbasaur tightly against her chest. She and her Pokemon, her first and most cherished, had been out to find more Pokemon and hatch some eggs when these three had jumped out at her.

“Hey, look, another loser with their Pokemon!” one had sneered, picking up a handful of rocks and chucking them at her Bulbasaur, sending the poor creature dashing behind her legs to gain some type of cover.

“Look at it run!”

“What a loser!”

[Name] had then turned around and scooped her Bulbasaur up, leading to where she was now. She wasn't sure if these guys had Pokemon of their own, but she didn't want to risk it.

“J-just leave us alone! What is wrong with you?” she cried out, blinking her [color] eyes in surprise when one of the guys walked over to her.

She was not able to react in time and was promptly pushed to the ground. She winced when she felt her tail bone hit the concrete beneath her, knowing that would be hurting for days now.

The other guys moved to follow suit when [Name] suddenly heard footsteps behind her. Hoping that it wasn't another goon, she turned to look over her shoulder and stared in shock.

Once [Name] had gotten strong enough, she had decided to join Team Instinct. And she had met their Leader, Spark, a few times since then. Every time, he had always been so sweet and kind. But this time, he seemed different. He walked with a purpose, not his usual self. With his Raichu on his shoulder, he looked like he was ready to take on the world.

His blue eyes showed nothing but determination as he stepped between [Name] and her aggressors, his Raichu jumping down from his shoulder.

“Oh, look. Another loser!” the head goon yelled, causing them all to burst into a chorus of laughter.

“Raichu..”

The three boys stopped laughing when they saw the Pokemon’s body begin to spark, backing away slightly.

“Eh, look man, we didn't mean-”

“Quick attack.”

The three boys turned and took off running with Raichu on their heals. [Name] couldn't help but to laugh a bit, but quickly clapped her hand over her mouth when Spark turned to look down at her with his striking blue eyes.

“What was that all about?” he asked, his personality slowly returning to normal.

“Oh.. Well, Bulbasaur and I were out to find more Pokemon when they showed up out of nowhere… They were so mean. I wonder which team they’re-”

“Don't let the teams sway you. We all have our good and bad apples,” Sparky stated with a warm smile, reaching to hold his hand out to [Name].

“I saw you were hatching some eggs as well. Care if I join? I soo need that Lapras for the dex,” he stated, smiling brightly.

[Name] didn't even hesitate, placing her hand in his to continue on her adventure. Only this time, he would be by her side.
