I've done thousands of long exposures over the years... usually with film (film is better for long exposures).

Great job and I appreciate that you color corrected (white balanced) the image. Sodium vapor lights and buildings usually read between 3200K and 4200K (so tungsten or florescent).
I use Tungsten film for long exposures.

You did this for 15 seconds. Try doing it for half that length next time. The problem with digitals for long exposures is their tendency to blow out. So the streams of light from the highways is a little over-exposed. But really. It's a great photo regardless.
