Honestly I never wanted to watch/read the series because of the beginning. I could never stomach the fact that they made her intentionally look unattractive while she was chubby, but just by losing some weight she turned into the average, flawless shoujo protag. I really like your take on her, and tbh I think she looks much cuter chubby~! <3

Honesty this is the reason I dropped KHNM. It's bad enough that from the opening act the show insinuates women need to be thin to be attractive, but then thin Kae gets the privilege of being drawn with normal eyes while fat Kae is stuck looking like... That... >.<'
