Description I am trying to push my creativity and see how many ways I can design a dress with the same cut/style. Sorry if you see repetition with my previous work. I LOVE metal- chain, studs, spikes, rivets, buckles etc. LOVE them!! I hope to be able to grow out of that habit inorder to expand my fashion sense.
The red looks weird cuz i just changed the hue/sturation. Will fine tune this after i complete the looks

thanks. it was a rush job but i enjoy it. i'm working on a dress with fabric I bought last month so IDK when i'll be able to expand on this collection.
once I do I'll make them available in Misheru's Closet.

Had a design like this myself a while back.. [link] Not as elegant/intricate as yours though. Nicely done, home girl.

I love the pattern on the first one, it makes me think of a really exotic silk. The second one is really cool with the chains. The only issue I have with the first two is the lack of a front.
The last three are cool two. The third has those extra chains that really give it more of that piraty look (brain, what is it with the pirates?!). The last one I think just needs some color tweeking, vamping out the vibrancy. The flow part looks really good, the bodice feels just a little bit too purple. Perhaps make it black?

The first 2 aren't finished. I considerd adding a solid color, light weight fabric to the fronts but couldnt find a color that worked. I wanted something slightly sheer. I dont want the bust fabric to be the same as the skirt.
I may just change the overall design of the top.

I should have fixed the color on the last one, but i was too sleepy. LOL. Thats what i get for rushing things at 1 am. I changed the hue/saturation of the purple one to make the red one. I'll see how the black looks. I'll also change some of the design so it's different than the purple.

Thankyou for your input. It helps alot

^^ You should start your own boutique Or atleast your own internetshop (then I could buy your designs too )

i want to. but i still have little skill in sewing/pattern drafting. i found people who do classes. it isnt totally expensive but i dont have the money for them or to buy all my supplies.

My frustration stops me from pushing myself. i draw wayyy more than what i should be. I have a machine and fabric so i should focus on that but i dont. Self reliance is very hard. although i prefer to work independently i do not have the self control to design on my own. i'll seek out a partner this year. ALOT of people keep telling me they wish they could wear my stuff that should be enough motivation for me. I'm hopeless.

Well, maybe your sketches are enough. I mean, I live in Belgium and here in Europe there are lots of designers who just draw out their sketches and than try to get in one of the big workshops where their collection gets made and if they're lucky their clothes will be even showed at a fashion show Don't know if you guys have something like that in the US too...

No we don't! That's cool. I've heard of sewing houses being able to produce garments based on sketches. America is built on retail- they prefer to buy help instead if making it themselves

Too bad... But then again, sewing is rather in as a hobby now. Maybe you can improve your skills by books or online tutorials. Start small like every great designer did

I located a sewing organization. I will ask one of the people who run it if there is something they can help me with.

thanks! Patten drafting is key to having a good looking garment. I hope someone there has the knowledge
