Description Please Excuse the poor quality of this photo. I was not using still frame i was recording a video. Then later on I took this still shot out of it.

I was using my Canon EOS 600D with a 55-250mm Zoom lens.
I was using the integrated digital zoom to get even closer to the moons surface.

mine only has a x21 zoom and it gets it pretty well....
so its possible....

So sorry for the late replies.

21x Optical Zoom aint bad at all! Mine only goes up to 250mm and then i have to use the built in digital zoom.

Oh lol it doesn't do Macro shots well.. That sucks! At least you can get good shots of the moon that is all that counts haha

Thank you very much oh haha being temperamental is it? Mine does that times. When I want to take a picture i set it all up nice focus and everything then i hit the button to shoot and bam it changes everything and says that it is busy XD lol

yes! its soooo annoying i just wish mine would turn into somehting nocturnal... i really wanna take a decent pic of the moon

Does yours have Night portrait? If not play around with the settings and try this - F16 , ISO 100. Even alter your shutter speed if you have to, 1 – 60 secs is perfect for fireworks or anything like that in a night sky
