I watched Unfriended on my laptop for the best effect, and I honestly thought it was an interesting new take on the "found footage"-type of horror.
I guess a lot of people have already had enough of that of that genre after Paranormal Activity's line of sequels. Not to mention a lot of people go to the movies expecting to be scared by nothing but visuals, which adds on to the bland public reviews of this movie. You can't please everybody with horror films nowadays.
