Description I did a little bit of hacking on Docky. I made the dark triangle indicators to replace the tiny radial gradient circle indicators that are practically invisible on light or transparent Docky themes.
Beyond that i also did a proper porting of the OSX dock to Docky working directly from the source files on OSX and creating brand new nearly pixel perfect SVGs based on the original TIFF raster images. I was too lazy to figure out how to incorporate my theme properly into this build of Docky so I just replaced the Glass theme with my OSX theme. To use it, select the Glass theme.
Packaged it as a .deb in both x86 and x64 for ease of installation for those of you who are terminal impaired. Based on the latest bzr version in launchpad, 2.2.0

Hi, I also need to change the indicators because I'm using a white dock and those green circles are just unreadable.
How did you change them?
Thanks

I don't know why I just now realized that the issue is that my docky build is a branch incorporating the "stacks" bookmarks plugin. In order to use my docky deb, you will need to install docky stacks and then my deb which will supersede the version in the repo.

It does not seem to work for me at all.. im using ubuntu 11.04 amd64, and installed the amd64 package only, when i click to load Docky, nothing, no error- no nothing.
Screenshot above looks very nice though.

try adding the docky ppa and installing it from there first.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:docky-core/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
then try reinstalling the .deb I made. I'm assuming that the vanilla Ubuntu lacks the deps for this custom docky build. As I mentioned in the readme file (I think I remembered to anyway) this build of docky is based on BZR which is pretty much bleeding edge docky source. Good luck!

Yes i have tried that, unfortunately no luck.. tried a second time exactly as you mention, maybe its not meant to be...

hmmm... its weird, because I experienced the same thing on an untampered with 64 bit Ubuntu install on one of my computers. But the 32 bit build worked fine on my netbook without even installing the docky core ppa... very curious.

I don't know if you're using the x86 or amd64 build but this morning I found that I'd made a compiling error on the amd64 version and the indicators weren't right. I'm uploading a proper build now. It was late last night when I packaged it so mistakes are bound to happen.

It just occurred to me that people may want to use my docky theme on the standard docky, so I'll be packaging that as well.

I have used only theme (.tar file) in Docky from repo so no error.
