Dalek: Please desist from striking me. I am your soldier.The Doctor: You! Are! My! Enemy! And I am yours! You are everything I despise! The worst thing in all creation. I've defeated you. Time and time again, I've defeated you. I sent you back into the Void! I saved the whole of Reality from you! I am the Doctor! And you are the Daleks!
Dalek: Correct.
The Doctor has a Dalek now. Daleks are cool.
This is from the Doctor Who episode "Victory of the Daleks." The tea Dalek in that episode is super awesome, maybe almost as awesome as this pocket-sized Dalek with the Doctor attached.
I already started this drawing back in January, and I didn't finish it until today. Let's hope I find some more time for drawing soon, or I'll upload nothing else this year.
Still, even as it took real long to complete I'm quite satisfied with the result. Apart from Matt's face, that is. If you have ever tried drawing it you know what I'm talking about.
I screwed it up big time, but as erasing it over and over again only damaged the paper I just gave up on drawing his face and left it like this. The only thing that kept me from throwing the complete drawing away was his hair, which was already finished back then and which I think looks really good (if I may say so myself ).So let's all rejoice and be glad for Matt's hair, as it saved him in this case.
I'm a little proud of the Dalek too. I'd prepared for the worst when I started drawing the little details on it, but it came out quite good actually. So yay! Done with:

I think his right eye is off slightly and that the right side of his face by his lips and nose is off, other than that, looks perfect.

WOW!! The detail is amazing on the Dalek! And what are you talkin about his face...it looks fabulous! Tho I'm sure after how much you must have tried to fix your mistakes, you know you were glad you didn't trash this piece of art! You are much too hard on yourself. I think he's pulling the 'sultry-boy with his new toy' look. And yeah, his hair came out quite nicely too

Trying to get his face just right, and then not getting it right was the biggest frustration so I guess his face isn't so bad (I had just wanted it to be better

Matt Smith's face is a pain to draw but you pulled it off well. Love the details on the jacket fabric.

I loved his episode, just cause the daleks were driving the Doctor insane. And you know.. it had Winston Churchill.
Great work on the perspective and the expression on the Doctors face, even if his face seems a little crooked somehow, but that might be the angle just playing tricks on me.
