So, whenever I get into a new fandom, I usually end up reading pretty much every fanfic I can find (that is well written enough for me to stand reading it.) I did this for AssCreed too of course and in my reading I noticed that LOTS of people seem to write Malik as a person who talks lot about being able to fight and defend himself and whatnot but is still continually kidnapped, beaten up, tortured and abused.I do understand why fanficcers do this but I wanted to show Malik as a someone who doesn't let the loss of his arm hold him back, or worse, turn him into a liability. He's still a fucking assassin goddammit. You're gonna get a fucking knife in the throat if you look at him sidewise, you Templar bastards. ಠ_ಠ

If it helps, in some fics, Malik only gets harassed by guards because he can't out himself as a member of the brotherhood and showing off his skills would do that.

As it is, I read fanfics featuring badass people because, well... they're badass. Strip off the things that make a character badass, and they're no longer the character as portrayed.
Having faults, being imperfect, lacking something... these things, and not letting them make the character helpless, are what make a character work and appeal.
For that alone, I love this comic of yours. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
