okay to be completely honest ... the only reason i decided that this pic of a ghost was going to be a ghost was cause i was to lazy to map out feet with the pen tool ...but it ended being more work in the end ...
damn me and my easy ways out
but i think it came out ok so W/E
this weekend was pretty boring and i had the greatest desire to draw.. however .. my art supply were elsewhere
so i said to myself WTF im going to try any ways .. so i started to draw out the head then body using only the photoshop pen tool.. this is the First time ever attempting this with out at least a crude sketch and all i had was a track ball mouse.. which i hate using for art...
my hand is killing me i need to get a graphic tablet
there is no way i will ever do this again with out a tablet
but after i mapped out the outlines it was just a matter of filling in the spaces like usual
as soon as i get my pens and pencils back its back to "drawing" as i love to do
and to think this all started cause i wanted a new DA-ID

wow, I really like this! haha, it looks awesome! And impressive work with only a mouse! I definitely don't understand how to do these things with photoshop, I usually use illustrator. I know you want a tablet, but until you get the money what about an optical mouse? I mean that's what I use, and it is definitely easier than a trackball one, those frustrate me haha.
But anyway! I like this a lot, you put a considerable amount of detail into it, and in the background, which is very impressive

hehe why thank you, but i dont think that any kinda mouse would make a difference .. its still like drawing with a brick of soap

one of these days im going to do that ... like melt down a bunch of crayons and put them in a brick form and make a drawing with it... but it would have to be pretty big i bet

XD haha! I have often wanted to do that, especially with like bits of colored pencils and crayons and stuff that comes off when you sharpen them, so that i wouldn't be wasting it. Because a pretty good deal of colored pencil shtuff comes off, and it would be cool if that would actually work lol.
