Description This version is not based off of one specific era of FOB, but rather, some mixed era, Fall Out Boy...A combination of sorts across different time periods for the band. Kind of ironic that the version that features my fave moments for the band is the one where they are horribly killed in it, hehehe. But it is to be expected when you draw Happy Tree Friends, right? i never really liked HTF all that much. (tho i do enjoy rule 34 of HTF) i hated it cuz my older brother used to tramatize me with it when i was really little, lol. it doesn't bother me anymore tho. i like the art style and it was actually pretty fun to try my hand at it, combining it with my own art style. i am not much of a gore artist so cartoony gore was the way to go for me!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Joe's death is a reference to how Russel dies in the HTF episode In a Jam. (i only watched this episode and the MV for The Carpal Tunnel of Love when finding reference for gore of this show.)

Andy's death is pretty self-explanatory...What else would you use drumsticks for, if not for shoving them in your own eyes?

Decapitation and being sliced in half seem to be popular deaths for HTF, so i chose that for Pete. It could represent how Pete's lyrics paint him as a broken man or...another possibility is that FOB has been split into many different genres of music during their 20+ year run. i will let you decide what that means.

Patrick's design/death is a reference to the Soul Punk era. while yes, i am aware that this was not a FOB project but Patrick's solo career during the band's 4-year hiatus, i still wanted to pay homage to it, as i absolutely loved this era for Patrick. His heart bursting out of his chest refers to the rather heartbreaking essay he wrote during this time.

The logo featured here was the logo used during the Folie à Deux era, which happens to be my fave FOB album. It is also fitting for this version of the art since during its release, the Folie was "ripped apart" by fans and critics alike. It was unfortunate, since I consider this album to FOB's best work and i think many fans are coming back to it now and realizing what hidden genius it is.

The logo on Andy's drums is the new logo for the band, for the new 8th Album. At the time of me drawing this, FOB has released the first single Love from the Other Side and will release the full album on March 24. The new album is called So Much (For) Stardust.
