I wonder if Gen 3 Synths can actually eat... I think I heard Synth!Curie complaining about having to sleep every 16 hours but I'm not sure if she ever complains about getting hungry...

Logical (and that's just my opinion), I think they have to eat and drink because they have still organic materials. Even they eat/drink less than a normal human they need energy/organic material for cell generation, produce heat or sweat to keep the body temperature on a normal level, the muscels and brain need allot of energy.
I don't think they put their fingers in a socket to recharge the duracell in their ass.
