Just to clarify, there are no canon or official creepypastas. They are all created by one individual creator each. they are ocs.
If it's supposed to be canon, then it would be then created all by only one company, etc.
Creepypasta is a growing community as well where people can share their own ideas and stories. its limitless.
They are NOT people who come face to face like an official working company. It's really all from the internet.
However if people are insisting to referring "canon" creepypastas, they are talking about the classic, most popular, or "the first class" of Creepypastas.
I supposed, the first Creepypastas ever created? ^^"
Such as Jeff the Killer, Smile Dog, Ben Drowned, Eyeless Jack, Laughing Jack (he is now moved to CP classics btw), of course Slenderman (however, he is not really classified as a Pasta, but he belongs to his own verse), The Rake, Russian Sleep Experiment, BOB and etc.
I mean.. who doesn't love the classics? :3 (you can tell that from the massive fanart they're having
)ALSO. Creepypasta fandom is very different from all other fandoms.

i don't like most of the classic ones.
Jeff the Killer is ridiculous, Laughing Jack is stupid and just goes for "much blood so scary!" and Eyeless Jack doesn't make any sense and explains nothing.
Smile Dog is ok, i guess.
Ben Drowned is far superior to every other classic story. also because how complex it is!
The Rake has some charm, also because of his origins on the /x/ board of 4chan.
Bob is the same as Eyeless Jack, stupid and explains nothing (at least the protagonist gets to hit the monster where it hurts, for once, though)
and the russian sleep experiment... at the beginning, it was good, but the end was just... absolutely terrible! it didn't make any sense and it also resorted on "gory=spooky".
i like creepypastas which are not such try-hard material.
like "it has no face". this is an interesting story. or "11 Miles"
but i think the best scary stories are still the ones from Lovecraft!

I'm sick of seeing him on all the classic CreepyPasta stamps
his story wasn't even a CreepyPasta.
Don't get me wrong, I love the character, but his story was rubbish. It was nothing more than a gory, messed up backstory.
