I really love this concept art and I think this is something DE should take a look at. Sadly yes it is going to take QUITE a while that we are getting Gara Prime.

Looking great so far. I'd suggest splitting the coattail into their own separate strips, like base Gara, and maybe some gold bits on her head horns.
