I saw that amazing Valkyr Prime on Primetime #45 last night,and asked myself, how i would make valkyr prime look like.
I think she got some more armored parts on her body... i mean... she is a tank.
(And her current bodypaint don't really fit her role -.- )
Ouh and i don't want to hear any "but my mom said, this couldn't happen"-posts -.-
Anything could be primed... DE confirmed that.
It's even possible to make her skills fit with small changes of their animations.. or names.
For example:
Rip Line = Chosen (Maybe with some energy-wing animation on her back? :>)
Warcry = Warsong
Paralysis.... ok i think there is nothing to change at this one x)
Rage-claws -> some nordic (E-)Blades at her wrists, or one blade and a shield with "silva & Aegis"- movement (and without this awesome feral-moves
)... and no, she wont get cat ears... this concept is based on valkyries, not on damn cats x)
If u want cat ears, just equip bastet helmet xD
June 2015, update:
Now that DE have shown a "pre Corpus" Skin for Valkyr in a DevStream,
i have to draw another Valkyr Prime, based on the PreCorpus-Skin.
This concept here WONT be influenced by the new skin! NO changes of her weapons, style etc.

Anyway:

But how does Valkyrs name match her skills?
There is only one wich could fit...
Valkyries pick up chosen fallen ones after a battle and bring them to Valhalla...
And the only ability wich could fit hereΒ is Rip Line, if you aim your fallen allys x)
Her other skills are so Berserker-ish....
This is why i changed her design in this prime-version a bit
And if we take a look at her pre Corpus skin, we can see, that she will get
a Cat's tail BUT something like wings, too... so, i think her design is based on something like a griffin :/

Just rediscovered this post again, thought i'd elaborate on my previous comment;
Easilly, by far, my favorite take on Valkyr prime. I'm so happy you channeled the Valkyrie part of her, (which contrast to what this guy below me says, she's not just supposed to be an angry cat lady), it really makes her a beautiful Warframe.
And just how heavily armored she is? Man if DE ever used this concept I might cry, she's so absolutely amazing. I love Valkyr but I always thought her chassis model left a lot of cosmetic potential to be desired. Which obviously, was the point given that she was so stripped and torn apart by Alad. To see her back in her graceful self is absolutely amazing.Β
There's never been a fan concept I wanted to see more than this one right here, and I mean that. Valkyr has so much potential to be great and I think this right here is probably the best I've ever seen her represented. Bravo, good show, all that jazz, Jana.

Here's a suggestion for an old norse replacement choice for Valkyr Prime; SΓ‘rrgeisa (SΓ‘rr - Painful, Geisa - Rage) unfortuneatley there aren't that many Norse words to find for that work as decent trades for Hysteria, simply using Berserk works too as it originally comes from old norse, Berserkr (Bera - Bear, Serkr - Shirt).

Why you do dis? I can no longer sit idly and watch prime after prime come out that's not Valkyr Prime. I will cry every time it's not her until it is, at which time I may explode.
Seriously though, amazing artwork, and a great return-to-glory concept.
As far as returns to glory, I'd love to see her armor undamaged, in the beautiful white-gold of prime frames. This is a really good idea of what her design could be like. X3
But for her demeanor, I will always prefer her as the furious, raging demon she is. Maybe to play on this, make it a battle-fury, make her a devastating and graceful whirlwind of claws. Not blades, but her claws, which I will always love. I like the design for her bonds, though. Less like chains, more like decoration. The idea with animation-changes would be brilliant, make her attacks less savage and flail-y, instead more graceful and purposeful. I like her roar of anger, so I wouldn't go so far as to say audio changes, or name changes.

Maybe I can help;
Hysteria = Battle Fury. Valkyr enters a trance-like berserker state where she feels no pain and knows no rest. Armed with golden blades of light Valkyr becomes an unstoppable whirlwind of deadly feline grace and righteous ire.
Rather than the sword-and-shield (cool idea, but apparently the berserkers of old never used them and went full-ham with double handed or dual-wielded weapons) the animations for dual daggers can easily be adapted into Valkyr's existing move set for Hysteria. Having the daggers be something wrist-mounted, as an idea, would also mean more minimal changes for DE to make in the animations, something that would make this far more feasible.Β
But what I really love about your ideas here for Valkyr is that, where Rhino or Nova have subtle changes, like moving armour and different energy colourations for their effects (such as a gold Iron Skin instead of silver) Valkyr would be more animation than effects. Ripline would be the same (maybe call it Shackle instead, she's throwing out a shackle to latch to her opponent, the mobility would be a happy by-product, not the preferred mode the rage-Val uses) with a simple energy effect. Warsong would only need a different vocal intonation. Paralysis (why not call it Stun, as that's all it really does?) not even a different vocal... And Hysteria would just be a slightly different visual in the energy, and all the rest of the change would be animation.
Still the same frame, exactly the same play style, but because of the animation touches people would love it because of the different feel when playing as her.
Valkyr would make a truly interesting Prime, and I really hope DE is watching this kind of feed-back when it comes time to plan out their Primes.
